Located on the 8th floor of Erie's newest hotel, Oliver’s Rooftop overlooks Erie's beautiful bayfront and indulges guests with inventive and extraordinary cuisine served alongside stunning views and captivating sunsets.

Oliver’s Rooftop offers incredible vantage points of Presque Isle Bay provided by massive floor-to-ceiling glass panels. A retractable glass wall allows for open-air dining on the rooftop balcony in favorable weather.

Oliver’s Rooftop is a one-of-a-kind culinary destination that pays homage to Erie’s rich maritime history. Oliver’s Rooftop is named in honor of Oliver Hazard Perry, an American naval commander best known for his heroic role in the 1813 Battle of Lake Erie. Visitors to Oliver’s Rooftop will have the chance to view Perry’s flagship, the US Brig Niagara, in her home port adjacent to the restaurant.

Oliver’s Rooftop is the crowning jewel of Erie’s newest hotel, the Hampton Inn & Suites.

My daughter and I had delicious appetizers and dinner and loved it all. Our server John was very attentive the entire dinner. He gave us great suggestions and it was an awesome dinner. My daughter enjoyed the steak and mashed potatoes and I enjoyed the flavorful pork chop. Thanks very much for a nice evening.

Always enjoy Oliver’s. Our server, John, has been a delight. The food is excellent, kudos to the chef and food preparers. This restaurant is a gem.

The food and service was fantastic! The manager, Max, made sure everything was great. Michael, our server, timed everything out perfectly. Great evening celebrating our anniversary!

Had a fabulous anniversary dinner at Oliver’s Rooftop. The Smoke on the Water drink was super. The Shrimp and Lobster Bisque was rich, creamy and delicious. The Tucson Sausage Soup was hearty and had a nice broth. However, it was salty. Salads were enormous. The Oliver’s Chopped Salad and Chicken Solvoki Salads would easily feed two or more. Ingredients were fresh, cold and crispy with excellent dressings. The two dinner specials, Sea Bass and Swordfish were well prepared, nicely seasoned and delicious. The Salmon Mousse with the Swordfish was unique, light and had a rich texture and flavor. Chicken Picatta excellent with a nice sauce. Portions are very generous. No room for dessert. Our Server David was excellent. Great knowledge of the menu. Dinner was well paced. One of our favorite restaurants when visiting Erie. Made Anniversary #34 Special!!

Nathaniel was attentive and explained all the specials and answered questions well. He also knew when to give us space to catch up with each other. We each had one of the specials, and everything looked, smelled, and tasted amazing! As the night went on, it got louder and louder. However, the fun cocktails probably contributed to that.

Wonderful first experience. Great table by the window. Don’t give up the shrimp appetizer was awesome, and large. It’s a better app for 3-4 people to share. Wife got the filet and I had the walleye. Both were excellent. Meal was well paced and Naomi did a great job explaining the menu and was very attentive.

Oliver’s setting is Erie’s best, with views of Presque Isle Bay, the Bayfront Convention Center, and Dobbins Landing. The food is exquisite, and the servers are friendly, helpful, and attentive without being intrusive. You can’t have a nicer dining experience. Ask for a seat by the windows. In the summer, the venue is open to the outside, a wonderful feature.

Serice was infrequent every 10 to 15 minutes. Many patrons dressed for a bowling banquet. Food was impeccable.
