Located on the 8th floor of Erie's newest hotel, Oliver’s Rooftop overlooks Erie's beautiful bayfront and indulges guests with inventive and extraordinary cuisine served alongside stunning views and captivating sunsets.

Oliver’s Rooftop offers incredible vantage points of Presque Isle Bay provided by massive floor-to-ceiling glass panels. A retractable glass wall allows for open-air dining on the rooftop balcony in favorable weather.

Oliver’s Rooftop is a one-of-a-kind culinary destination that pays homage to Erie’s rich maritime history. Oliver’s Rooftop is named in honor of Oliver Hazard Perry, an American naval commander best known for his heroic role in the 1813 Battle of Lake Erie. Visitors to Oliver’s Rooftop will have the chance to view Perry’s flagship, the US Brig Niagara, in her home port adjacent to the restaurant.

Oliver’s Rooftop is the crowning jewel of Erie’s newest hotel, the Hampton Inn & Suites.

    This was a fantastic experience for or anniversary, we were here for one 3 years ago and decided to go back. We took or daughter us and had a fantastic time. We even got a special complimentary dessert for our anniversary. Was completely awesome. Thank you for making this another wonderful anniversary

    Service and view were great! Pork chop on the regular menus was the best I’ve ever had - more like eating a steak. Overall menu items were not that exciting to me, but it was a pleasant experience. My husband had filet mignon, which was average. We had said in reservation that we were celebrating our anniversary, and staff acknowledged this and gave us a free dessert.

    We had an amazing 5 star experience here for our Anniversary. Our waitress remembered me mentioning I had a dairy sensitivity and when she brought out our dessert, she made sure the ice cream was separate and the whipped cream was dairy free on the fruit! Without even asking. They go above and beyond here and really make you feel at home. Dinner was delicious, definitely try their pasta with the chicken, and the view was spectacular. We can’t wait to come back. 😊

    I requested a nice table a week in advance. We didn't get that, and the hostess was rude about it. We had a drink at the bar and waited for a better table. It was a very special occasion (birthday and retirement). When we got our table, we ordered appetizer which was good. David, our server, was wonderful. Caesar salads were also good. I ordered the lobster pappardelle which was horrible. Description said a sherry and parmesan cream sauce. Lobster was not real meat and so chewy (and VERY little), the sauce was red/sweet and gummy. I would have sent it back, but it was a special occasion and many people around us were interacting with us as they were celebrating occasions as well, and I have never sent a meal back- so i just didn't eat it. My husband ordered the Cajun Chicken Pappardelle which had no cajun flavor at all. I don't like spicy foods, but he asked me to taste it. It just tasted like heavily peppered blackened chicken. Sauce also had little flavor, and there was very little of it. We both left our meals mostly uneaten. When David returned he didn't ask if anything was wrong with the meals or even if we wanted them boxed. We just told him that we were finished. I felt like for a special night out, the night was ruined by the food. They weren't described appropriately, and they were not as described. The table next to us left their lobster pappardelle as well. For a restaurant of this reputation and fine dining pricing, I felt that spending $150.00 was a huge disappointment. We take eating out as a special event. I have NEVER left a bad review. We came home and I was so upset about it (because I was still hungry), that I tried to leave a review on their website, but there is nowhere to leave a review. Their only contact information is their phone number, and they are not open. We won't be returning to Oliver's. We had eaten there previously and had a wonderful, wonderful experience.

    We celebrated our honeymoon and had a fantastic dinner. The lobster deviled eggs are amazing as well as the walleye. Our waiter made it special and brought us a dessert with a candle in it. We highly recommend this place and we will be back.

    The food was just OK definitely not great for the price we paid.  the photos of the food on the iPad did id not look appetizing when our server was showing us the specials.

    First time there, met all expectations. Special dinner for wife and I and it was everything we expected. If in the area, a must stop.
