Found Tuna tartare to be too salty and lemony Waiter (Jay who was excellent) was happy to deduct from check.

First-timers and we will DEFINITELY. be back. What a great find and wonderful dinner, with excellent service. We didn’t feel rushed and our server was friendly and attentive. For starters, we had mussels (included a wonderful sauce, with a little kick, great for dipping bread) and pepperoni pizza (also great dipped in the mussel sauce) and for our entrees, I had the Wild Boar Ragu (amazing) and my husband had the Spicy Vodka pasta with sausage (also amazing). We both took half of our entrees to go and, it was so much food, we didn’t have room for dessert. If I could give Oliver’s 10 out of 10 stars, I would. We will absolutely be back. I did give 4 stars for value simply because they are on the pricier side. But our entire experience and the quality and taste of the food means Oliver’s our new favorite Italian restaurant.

I very, very seldom write a poor review but I have to about Oliver's Italian. The current hype of a high quality restaurant was not our experience. Very pricey for ordinary/por food. If you are looking for a good pizza joint I would recommend. Certainly not for a high quality dinner. My $45 Veal Chop was way overcooked. My wife's pasta dish was OK but not anything exceptional. But restaurants need our support so if you are looking for a good pizza place where clientele wear their baseball hats... this is the place. Don't expect high quality food.

There were 4 of us in our party. Three of us thought the pasta dish we ordered was good but not great. However, my wife’s shrimp scampi was horrible. She should have sent it back. Absolutely tasteless and overcooked pasta. If I were being this review on that, it would be a one. If an an Italian restaurant can’t do a standard (and frankly simple) dish as Scampi there’s something terribly wrong. Service was fine but nothing to rave about. I am being very generous with my 3 stars.

My husband had the sausage pizza and I had the pesto dish (Spaghetti). They were both delicious. For the price I would have like to have some bread included. Loved that they had happy hour through the weekend!
