Food was excellent quality and service was great. Disappointing that they do not offer a corking service like their sister restaurants and comparable restaurant in the city.

10/10!⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️The food was amazing and my server Leah was very knowledgeable of the menu. She made our first dining experience at Oliva a night I’ll never forget.

Excellent meal. I had largely stopped ordering steaks at restaurants but this was terrific. Simple. So well seasoned. Great wine list. We also had the shrimp appetizer which was off the charts. Caprese salad and short rib pasta also off the charts. Great vibe. Excellent service. Maybe the best restaurant group in Cleveland right now.

The meal was exceptional from start to finish, the service was wonderful and the restaurant felt cozy and comfortable. I am not sure what more someone could want. What a wonderful place. The ribeye was “marble room” quality. So happy we found this gem.

Highly recommended! Great restaurant and ambiance! The sachetti and gnocchi were delicious! Can't wait to go back and try the steak!

Was very excited to celebrate our anniversary with out of town, life long friends. Oliva was voted on, and eagerly anticipated(booked on 8/13. Reservation was confirmed by phone call from restaurant and reconfirmed by text from restaurant on Thursday, 8/17. We were heading to a concert that evening and had a tight schedule. On arrival for reservation, we were notified that the restaurant was closed for a private event by the hosting party. I found a manager after 10 minutes, and he did apologized but had no answer for “how this happened”. He then stated the best he could do was to get us seated at one of their sister restaurants, but one we were not initially interested in. We reluctantly agreed and 22 minutes later we were seated at a restaurant we did not book. 68 minutes later, we were finally handed our bill. At no time were we offered an sincere apology or even a drink for the inconvenience and embarrassment. We ended up missing Cher’s concert. Fair to say, we are done with this restaurant group.

Went with my wife for our anniversary dinner, table placement was horrible, not romantic at all. Was seated at a tinny two person table in a hallway that leads to the kitchen and bathroom. When I asked if we could be moved, we were told that there was no more availability, although we ate our dinner, drank a bottle of wine, and checked out while watching a hand full of open tables that were never used. Food was average for the high end feel they’re going for. First impressions go a long way and I probably would not go back.

Our favorite neighborhood steakhouse shut down during COVID. So we were happy to find Oliva had opened next door to our old favorite and we had to try it out. The entrance is just a step down doorway in an old brick building. From there you enter a relatively spacious dining area with a large bar on the right and table on the left and the back half of the restaurant. There is an open kitchen in the back. The decor is modern, tasteful and restrained. We were seated at a table for four, even though there were just two of us. Our server was excellent. Very attentive without being intrusive and helpful with our questions about the menu. My wife eats very lightly so she ordered the Asparagus Soup followed by the Zucchini and Arugula salad. Since she hates zucchini, she asked for the salad with extra arugula instead, which is exactly what she got. Her asparagus soup was divine and I'll be ordering that next time. I ordered the Wild Mushroom Consomme followed by the Filet Rossini. The soup was outstanding and she'll be ordering that next time. I asked for the steak medium and it was a little underdone to my taste. But the cut was so good, it didn't matter. She really liked the morsels I gave her. It came on a slice of toast with foie gras on top, and a little arugula salad on the side. The demi-glace was perfectly matched with the steak. It was a treat. The wine list is extensive, with lots of Italian reds to explore. The bill was very reasonable for the quality of the food, the ambience and the great service. We look forward to our next visit.

Had high hopes, was disappointed, had a drink at the bar, drink was not very good, come to find out it was the bartenders first day, he was very green. Service was very slow to great us and take our orders, had to ask. Had a few apps salad and pasta then steaks. The shrimp app was good but the other not so good, salad was unimpressive and cavatelli with some sort of dry chicken. Had the filets and they were not seasoned no flavor even with the sauce and foi. Had a few desserts as well, I not 1 out of our 8 things we ordered we were happy with. Nice ambiance and great looking menu, they looked overwhelmed with the business level that night.
