Pasta was ok, calamari was really good. Service was terrible. Charcuterie board was assembled nicely and tasted good.

Excited to try this restaurant in DC but sadly was disappointed. The service was very unattentive. A waiter didn't come for a long time and never brought us our wine till I asked the hostess to bring it. We shared the calamari fritti which was good but too salty. I had the Caeser salad with shrimp. I asked for the dressing on the side, which was not how it came and it was overly swimming in dressing. My husband had an Italian panini club. The bread overwhelmed the sandwich. We met the manager who was very sweet, and I want the restaurant to succeed but they need a bit more care with respect to quality and service.

Set up a last minute late night reservation and was very impressed. The service was friendly and warm, and very efficient and quick. Waitstaff checked in multiple times throughout the night. The food was amazing! The pollo milanese was cooked to perfection. The carbonara was creamy and delightful. Even the focaccia we ordered as a starter was savory and light. Loved every minute and will definitely be coming back!

I've never felt led to leave a bad review but after my experience this felt necessary. I made a reservation for a party of 5 for my friend's birthday, and at the last minute, one more person joined. We didn't think it would be a big deal, but apparently, we were wrong. When we arrived, we were rudely greeted by the host who immediately called out that we had added a guest without notifying them. The host informed us that they couldn't accommodate us and gave us the choice to either wait for a table or dine at the bar. Understandingly, we opted to wait at the bar for the next table. Even then, the host made it clear how inconvenienced she was by us. The wait was about an hour, and while we were fine with it, the entire interaction was completely disrespectful. Things didn't improve when the manager came over - we were met with the same passive aggressiveness. We were finally seated, and the host escorted us to our table and left with another snarky comment, saying, "Finally, I can go home now." At this point we were so baffled at the level of professionalism by the staff. Alongside, while we were waiting at the bar for our table the host made a point of telling us that the kitchen was "staying open just for us", even though the restaurant's website clearly stated that they closed at 1 am, it was 10 pm at this point. To top it all off, no one - not the host or manager acknowledged that it was my friend's birthday. There was not a single effort of any kind to make the occasion feel special. I understand things happen but the way we were treated was downright rude and unprofessional.

Spent Thanksgiving night with our family at Olio e Piu and we were glad we did. Food and service were excellent. The restaurant has great ambience and a high level of hospitality. Enjoyed our night and will return.

Beautifully decorated restaurant, lovely/helpful staff with delicious drinks and food. Crowded but pleasant. Highly recommend it, would definitely return in the future.

Wonderful meal and experience. Pasta was delicious and the Caesar salad was maybe the best I have ever had.
