I had the chance to return to this restaurant after a less-than-ideal first experience, and I’m so glad I did. From the moment I walked in this time, everything was different — in the best way. The service was attentive (thank you Salvador!) and welcoming, the food arrived hot and perfectly prepared. What truly stood out was the hospitality of the general manager, who went above and beyond to ensure that my experience was not only improved but exceptional. It’s clear that the team genuinely values feedback and is committed to making things right. Thank you to the entire staff for turning things around so thoughtfully.

I rarely leave negative reviews, but this experience was truly disappointing. The food was bland, overcooked, and lacked any real flavor—definitely not worth the price. Also We waited far too long for our meals, and when they finally arrived, they were cold.

Excellent restaurant, fantastic staff, great food! After dining during DC restaurant week and leaving with a mild feeling about the food quality for a restaurant of this caliber, we gave Olio a second chance tonight. I’m so glad we did as the food was wonderful, everything tasted great, and the staff was top notch. I’m now excited to dine at another restaurant by The Group Hospitality in DC, and appreciate the care and thought Olio gave to my previous review after restaurant week. Truly top notch service on both occasions, the food much improved the second. Thank you, Olio, for taking constructive customer feedback in stride!
