Great food and service. The carbonara, their signature dish, was tasty. Our group also ordered the salmon, the Chicken Milanese and the fusilli-all delish! The dining room reminds me of a living room-cozy and comfortable!

Marlon was our server and he was absolutely great. The food, atmosphere, and management exceeded my expectations. I would highly recommend this restaurant for any occasion.

The ambience at the restaurant was inviting, with a lively and energetic vibe that set a pleasant tone for the evening. However, my experience with the food was mixed. I ordered the Spaghetti Carbonara, which turned out to be disappointing. The dish was overly watery and resembled a soup more than the classic Carbonara I was expecting, which was a letdown given the restaurant’s Italian specialty. On the positive side, the drink I ordered was enjoyable, indicating that their drink menu has some solid offerings. The bread service was inconsistent—one piece was so hard it was nearly inedible, while the other piece was perfectly baked and delicious. Dessert was the highlight of the meal. The Tiramisu was exceptional, and I would highly recommend it to anyone dining here. Overall, while the atmosphere and some elements of the meal were enjoyable, the main course left much to be desired. I had hoped for a flawless Carbonara from an Italian restaurant but was served something subpar, which I finished primarily out of hunger. The experience was a blend of hits and misses, so future diners should set their expectations accordingly.

I really enjoyed my first experience at Olio E Piu. The food was incredible and everyone was extremely kind. The ambiance was not like anywhere else I have been in D.C. I would highly recommend others to go check it out.

The food was very good, you can tell they’re still working kinks out with timing and the staff. The only complaint is the noise! It’s soooo LOUD in there! You literally have to yell at people at your table and you can’t hear anything the staff is saying to you. Why is the music so loud? The bass is thumping like you’re at a club - which brings another point, the music doesn’t match the interior or ambiance. The wall decor reminds me on an Italian grandmother, but the music is like a club or lounge. The music and noise level are what would make me hesitant to come back.

The food was very bland. No taste at all. We expected a lot more . Service was ok but could improve. Great looking place, good atmosphere, the manager was very nice but I confess that I’m not sure that we will return.

I dined at Olio e Più last night for the first time and it was awesome! The food and ambiance were inviting and the staff were delightful! Our server, Salvador and the manager, John took very good care of us! We will be back! I highly recommend checking this spot out if you’re looking for a good Italian bite!
