Our Tavern Burger is a fan favorite which is an 8oz burger with cheddar cheese on a pretzel bun. And, Chef Elvis' Fried Chicken is Bone-in, double dredged served with mac and cheese, coleslaw & a buttermilk biscuit. A signature cocktail at the Tavern is the "Coffee Anyone" which is a twist on an espresso martini, Stoli Vanilla, Mr. Black, fresh brewed espresso, simple syrup. Thinking of a place to have an event? Horrible acoustics in the room even before a party of about 4 dozen teenage girls arrived for a pre-planned party. Unfortunately we were seated next to their table & could not converse with table mates for the rest of our dinner. Waiter was very efficient but we couldn’t hear a word he said after the party began. Food was good but not good enough to overcome the screaming and yelling that ruined our evening.

Olde Silver Tavern can get pretty noisy, and it was especially so on a busy Friday night. That having been said, we had another good meal. Our waiter, Mike, was friendly and attentive. We shared an appetizer of Cheesesteak Egg Rolls. Three egg rolls, not too big, with crispy exteriors and a tasty filling. They were served with a spicy dipping sauce that was very tasty. For entrees, my wife had the lobster roll. There was plenty of lobster meat with a side of french fries. I had the St. Louis spare ribs off the specials menu. A half rack of tasty ribs with lots of meat in a tangy barbecue sauce. It was accompanied by a choice of two sides from a list of 8.

Been here several times now !! Always great service and the food is amazing. Will definitely be back again. One thing though I ordered a drink while waiting at bar . Our table was ready so I ask her to give the bill . I paid her . But never received my change . She just assumed all my change was a tip . Which I have know problems tipping I work in an industry that I receive tips . But my change was a large amount . Let me leave you a tip instead of assuming.

Olde Silver Tavern is a good neighborhood restaurant. It has both a bar side (which we don't frequent) and a restaurant side that is quieter. The menu is varied. There are bar pies, more than a dozen appetizers, and a menu that consists of sandwiches, salads, and entrees. There is also a wide variety of alcoholic options. I opted for the Boulevardaire, their take on an Old Fashioned made with premium Buffalo Trace whiskey. It was very tasty. We split an appetizer of Philly Cheese Steak Egg Rolls. Three egg rolls served with a side of spice dipping sauce. The egg rolls were crisp, the filling was tasty, and it was a perfect portion for 2 to share. My wife had the Crab Cakes which were very tasty. It was served over a spicy lobster sauce and was accompanied by two sides (there were quite a few to choose from). I opted for the spicy fried chicken sandwich. It was accompanied by house made kettle chips. Both were very tasty.
