Sunday lunch is generally really good at this country pub, but this time it was a slight disappointment. The beef was much less tender than previous times and the range of vegetables a little disappointing. Maybe the regular chef was on holiday ? Still worth a visit and the summer pudding was lovely!

Excellent food at reasonable prices. Food always piping hot, service very good, friendly staff. Would highly recommend this venue

Easy to book our Sunday lunch online, the food was great (crab soufflé, beef suet pudding, roast beef, sausages & mash, honeycomb cheesecake). Great service as well.

Lovely restaurant/gardens and good value as 50% off lunch menu. However, some of the meals served to our party were disappointing - no bread served with starters, no peas or similar served with haddock and poor quality chips

Just perfect. Food arrived promptly and hot. Nicely presented. Not rushed between courses and not even hurried when we were the only ones left in the dining room. Overall a lovely experience.

We had a Sunday Roast Beef Lunch. Beautiful beef and mixed veg with nice Yorkshire Pudding. Quantity just right. Very good value. Excellent service at an outside table.

The 50 % meal discount for lunchtimes makes it a real bargain. Still a good menu choice and very pleasant and helpful staff, and a good atmosphere
