Le restaurant Old Vines est un lieu de rencontre d'ingrédients locaux frais. Notre sélection de plats met en valeur le style léger, frais et fruité et riche des vins de Quails' Gate. Notre menu évolue constamment pour refléter notre volonté de servir le meilleur et le plus frais que les artisans locaux de la vallée et les marchés de la côte ouest peuvent offrir.     The Stewart Family Proprietors' Dining Room is adjacent to our Wine Tasting Room and offers seating for up to 32 guests. This technically equipped facility is an exceptional venue for private, corporate, or family events as well as wine-related tours. The window surrounded dining room provides a spectacular view of the vineyard and Lake Okanagan. Guests can enjoy the late day breeze of Okanagan Lake from the terrace balcony off the private dining room. Our Quails' Gate wines, hand-crafted by Grant Stanley, are available along with a choice of group menu options which reflect the fresh regional cuisine of our Executive Chef, Roger Sleiman.

                                For the past 10+ years we have leased our family property to Quails gate to grow their grapes. We have never taken the opportunity to come for a meal in the Old Vines before and wanted Moms 82 birthday to be special. It was delicious, service was outstanding. We will need to come more often for sure. One of the best winery restaurants we have been to over the years.

                                My previous visits at Quails Gate set a high bar - they have been incredible, with witty / charming service, perfect ambience, delicious food. Precisely why I invited my out of town guests there for a bday dinner. This visit, the food was just as delicious. But the service / environment a bit "off" -- music was far too loud. Asked to have it lowered, it was, but then crept back. We all felt it, made conversation have to be loud. Music should be an "enhancement" like your menu items. Barely noticeable in the background, particularly for an evening dining experience. Our server I think had "something" going on ... (compassion to her) ... she was clearly not happy though put on a "good face" at the table. Even her water pouring felt aggressive. Dirty dishes sat for a long time on our table, despite her noticeably seeing them several times, including at least one visit to the table without clearing anything. (there seems to be some weird way of doing things that all dishes get cleared at once ... requiring several people -- it seems to me that that should be overridden by common sense if other staff are not readily available to assist). All that said, thank you for the experience we had. I'm sure this was just an "off day" for whatever reasons in the dining environment. Blessings on all who work at Quails Gate!

                                Our server was very friendly and explained the features of the day and answered our questions. We were not rushed. Food arrived hot and was very tasty. The suggested wine pairings were right on.
