Arrive at 10am for brunch in the Old Swan, featuring a selection of items, before your walking tour commences at 10.45 with local guide Graham Kew, returning to the pub for 12.30pm.

Lovely food, but could do with more light choices on on the menu for lunch. I had a fish bap with chips, but it really didnt need the bap as the fish was a normal sized fish in batter cut in half in a bap. Fish and chips on their own would have been enough. Great service and lovely drinks in a lovely old pub x

Food chosen for main courses was “Madras salmon” which was tasteless and “Crispy Cave-aged Cheddar Macaroni with Charred tenderstem broccoli, olive & chilli dressing”. This macaroni was truly appalling-it was a large bowl of tasteless soggy macaroni with 2 pieces of broccoli on top. We were given full refunds for our main courses but still bill came to £85 for two (including bottle of wine). Do not recommend and will not be returning!

The meal I ordered ,the salmon, was completely overcooked and dry and could not taste any madras flavours at all. One of the other meals was also overcooked, and had far too much batter on the fish. I was offered another dish which was OK. Given the price level I would expect better quality, no discount offered either for the food or any enquiry as to ho the meal was. Would not return.
