CELEBRATING 54 YEARS
The Old Stove Pub is a Hamptons Classic Steakhouse. Originally opened in 1967 as a Pub, then in 1969 The Old Stove Pub transformed into a Greek Restaurant and Steakhouse. The Old Stove Pub has been closed for several years and completed extensive renovations and restoration. The process took over a year to complete, while also keeping much of the original detail and charm. Re-opened in July of 2020, the Old Stove Pub is now considered one of the best restaurants in the Hamptons, not only for the food, but for our friendly and welcoming service.

We offer outdoor dining in our HUGE tent, front patio, dinner inside and a reduced capacity, and Bar Seating. There is TAKE OUT as well.

Old Stove Pub is available for any and all kinds of private events and dinners. We can comfortably host up to 100 people outside in a private dinning area. Special menus, family style dinners, cocktail hours, are all available. We are continuously planning and hosting dinners for parties of 10, 20 or more. Please call the restaurant for more details.

My husband and I live in the Hamptons year round. We wanted to try someplace new for date night, and Old Stove was this weekends winner. We ordered the crispy rice sushi appetizer, mussels and oysters. All were absolutely delicious! If they could bottle the broth those mussels are in, I’d be their best customer. I wish they came with some nice grilled bread to dip into that incredible sauce, and since we were in public, I refrained from drinking it straight from the bowl! It was THAT good!!! The crispy rice with tuna was the absolute best I have ever had. Super fresh tuna, avocado and jalapeños, and delicious crispy crunchy rice. The oysters were very fresh and delicious. For dinner I got the salmon dish over black lentils with a beautiful mustard sauce. I prefer my salmon medium well, and it was perfect! The skin was like a chip it was so crispy. And the fish was moist and seasoned beautifully. The absolute best salmon dish I have ever had. The lentil salad was beautiful and so fresh and light. A perfect compliment to the salmon. And the mustard sauce really brought it all together. Stunning, stunning dish. My husband got the rib eye…while he said the flavor was delicious, it was one of the fattiest rib eyes I think I’ve ever seen. Just a very poor cut of meat. It was on the pricier side, and boneless. So it was disappointing to have such a fatty cut. The temp was also on the very very rare side. Being that they were very busy, he didn’t send it back. That says a lot for the seasoning of the steak. All in all this meal and experience were easily a 9/10. We sat outside under the garden tent, and enjoyed a few celebrity sightings (which thrilled me way more than my husband). Our waitress was really sweet, helpful on recommendations and attentive without hovering over the table. Although drink service was a little slow. But again, super busy evening so no lost points for that.

Food was very good. Branzino, steak and tuna tartare were delicious. Drinks were made to perfection as well. Restaurant is cozy, staff were amazing.

Went here on a Friday night. Steaks, sushi and desserts as well as drinks were mind blowing. Service was great. And to top it off there was live music as well. We had a lovely evening at Old Stove and will definitely be back!

Waited 20 minutes for a server to come to the table when we arrived and had to go to the bar and ask if we could have a server to take our drink order. There was only one other couple in the restaurant so they weren’t busy.

The sushi was excellent. Unfortunately, though we got there at about 730 and the kitchen ran out of a main and a dessert that we wanted. The place looks a bit dated. It would do well to modernize a little bit, get rid of the checkered tablecloth in favor of plain white.

I was Looking forward to Local bay scallops as in the menu but were sea scallops just ok. My husband had sushi roll for entree he was still hungry. Beautiful in garden would eat inside also during winter excellent staff . Beet salad very good.
