We offer a fresh perspective on the classic neighbourhood eatery, throwing back to a simpler, more wholesome time when eating out was fun, approachable and most importantly, accessible. It brings patrons back to the mid-twentieth century – an era defined by a feel-good, optimistic mentality that influenced popular culture and food. The servers were lovely, but the host was not pleasant at all. It was off putting. Food was average. I doubt i’ll be going back sadly. Cute space though

Really loved the pancakes and enjoyed the entire vibe of restaurant! Love all the neon signs and references. Will definitely come back.

Heard so much about this place and finally decided to go since I was in the area. Definitely glad I went! One of the cheesiest mac & cheese in the city!!!

Been during the busy weekends but enjoyed my time during the weekdays a bit more. Food and service was fantastic, did not disappoint

Someone recommended this place to me. It’s a very cool place on Dundas and Bathurst. I ordered the peanut butter and jelly French toast and it was delicious! The perfect size for breakfast. Service was great!

I’ve been to old school numerous times, it’s one of my favourite places to visit. The food is phenomenal. However, today unfortunately the waiter that seated us was incredibly rude and he completely soured our experience. However, the waitress who served us made up for his rudeness.

Thanks to Yvonne for providing amazing service while we were there’s otherwise the experience was pretty disappointing. The restaurant was hot and stuffy, dirty, and we had flies buzzing around our heads the entire time.

Old school was okay but would probably not go back. A fellow who seemed like the manager who brought us to our table, but just tossed the menus on the table and just left us. He then proceeded to scold the other staff harshly in front of everyone there. Our server was pleasant though. Service water tasted weird, so we drank from our own tumblers. Ordered the chicken and waffle dish, the chicken was very dry and tasteless, despite the other reviews that it was a must order dish. Eggs benedict with smoked salmon was good enough to make the lunch okay.
