Are you coming to visit us to celebrate a birthday, anniversary, retirement, or any special occasion with a small group for breakfast of lunch? Think about booking one of our exclusively set celebration tables in the café, atrium or garden. Enjoy a special spot set with white linen, fine china, fresh flowers and glass ware, a truly beautiful setting. Please request in one of our celebration tables when you make your table booking. The charge starts from $40 per table, which is payable at the time of booking.

Indulge in a delightful afternoon of luxury & elegance as you step back in time and enjoy a traditional high tea with all of the trimmings. Laughter & conversation flow easily around our perfectly set tables when you are seated to enjoy a delicately planned afternoon of finesse and tradition, enjoyed over a two-hour sitting. High tea is served on Saturday and Sunday from3:00pm to 5:00pm, and bookings are essential. Pleasantly charming & reminiscent of a bygone era, Miss Violets High Tea room prides itself on tradition. For such an occasion as an afternoon High Tea, Miss Violet knows only the most opulent setting will do. The room is set with Royal Albert China, crystal chandeliers, white starched table cloths and fresh flowers.

The experience of poor service wasn’t due to the power outage during part of our meal. We ordered a bottle of wine that didn’t appear, and when we asked about it after a long wait, we were told it wasn’t on the order, in a tone that suggested the mistake was ours. Even then, there was delay and confusion before it finally appeared. The food was well below similar meals at similar restaurants. One of us has a serious, but simple, food intolerance which is generally acknowledged sympathetically, with alternative sides offered in its place. None was offered or provided in this case, so a very plain, meagre serving arrived, though full price was charged. Overall, we felt that there was a lack of professionalism and hospitality.

I booked Miss Violet’s Tea Rooms for an High Tea Baby Shower for my sister. Absolutely phenomenal the guests were all blown away by how beautifully the room was set up. They had been thought and intention put behind everything that was placed around the room. My sister was in shock. She had the most perfect baby shower beyond comprehension and the guests won’t stop talking about it. Thank you so much Old Man Drew would recommend anybody else thinking of coming to this cafe or booking a function :)

As always staff are great, great choices if food i& is always tasty & well presented, it’s a first choice place to go with friends.

Such a lovely place to spend an afternoon in the sunshine. Everything was beautiful and well considered from the plants to the throw rugs at every table. Food was plentiful and flavourful. Well worth the visit

Very busy glad we booked. Waiters lovely polite interactive. atmosphere was relaxed fun. food lovely tasty fresh, good coffee.

Lovely venue with lots of ambiance. Nice variety of food & drinks and attentive staff. Well worth a visit especially on sunny day when you can sit outside amongst the plants.

Overall experience was ok, I would've bumped it up to 4 stars but I found a hair in my food and when I alerted the waitress she just took the napkin away, apologised and took the hair wrapped in a napkin in it and didn't even offer to replace the meal with a freshly made one, which was quite disappointing. I won't be back in a hurry.
