From its humble beginnings in the quaint Hudson River town of Piermont, New York, Olar was known for serving up rustic Neapolitan pies, classic Spanish tapas, and hand crafted pastas that drew in both locals and foodies from all parts of New Jersey, upstate New York, and New York City and kept them coming back for over a decade.

Now in its new location in Northvale, New Jersey, the restaurant, now known as Olar Noso - which means "our home" in Galego, the language spoken in Galicia where the Dominguez family is from - is an evolution in not only name alone.
They have managed to scale the restaurant concept generously while replicating the quality and preserving the reputation the former Olar had garnered over the years. Evolving into Olar Noso meant giving Olar's loyal customers everything they loved, while also enhancing their experience with more seating, more elbow room, a full bar, a private event space, and, finally, ample parking.

Enjoyed our visit to Olar. The food was excellent , unusual, and delicious. Service was attentive and helpful. Our reservation was for 5:45 thankfully because the noise level escalated as the evening continued. There is no place to sit to wait for your reservation so it pays to go early so you are seated immediately and don't have to wait. I would highly recommend it if you go early.

Delicious and fresh food with a very varied menu. Had the seafood paella which was a very generous portion, loaded with excellent seafood. Very nice atmosphere and very good service.

Olar Nosa never disappoints. My husband & I have been here several times & loved it each time. The food and cocktails are fantastic & such a wonderful selection!! We have always told our friends about it. Well, tonight we brought five of them for a birthday celebration. They loved it as much as we did. We ordered pizzas, tapas, salads, skirt steak and pasta. All cooked perfectly & were so delicious!! You seriously cannot go wrong with anything you order here! And did I mention the service? You cannot find a harder working staff. They are friendly and cannot do enough for you. We cannot wait to go back. Definitely make a reservation!! Weekends are very, very busy.

First time here, and I can’t believe I didn’t know about them when they were in Piermont. It was a very easy drive to get here from the house and this is going to be a regular restaurant in our rotation. There’s probably a dozen more things I wanted to try that we didn’t have room for. Everything was amazing. Loved it. Can’t wait to go back.

We had a great dinner at Olar! Our tapas, entrees, and drinks were all amazing. We 10/10 recommend.

Our first time there, place was very nice, food was amazing, service was amazing. A little pricey and a little loud but worth it.

Excellent food, good service, friendly atmosphere. There were some specials for Valentines Day, however, with no prices listed. I ordered a glass of wine that was $28. I would've appreciated knowing that before I ordered it! I don't like when specials do not indicate the price whether it's for food or beverages.

Amazing food- other the La stalla in Italy one of the best restaurants in universe! Pea cavatelli is beefaroni on steroids!
