Welcome to Októ, where Mediterranean flavors and vibrant ambiance converge. Named after the Greek word for "eight," Októ offers an upbeat atmosphere with a jazzy bar featuring exclusive spirits. Our menu, crafted by Sof chefs Yotam Dolev and Hai Avnaim, showcases innovative, nutritious dishes inspired by Greece, Spain, and the Levant.

Guests can enjoy a seasonal selection of approximately a dozen shareable plates, reflecting the rich culinary traditions of the Mediterranean. Complementing the food, our bar serves a curated wine list and a range of classic and creative craft cocktails. Beautiful restaurant and great food. However, restaurant was out of the three seafood dishes on the already limited menu. Service was below expectations for a restaurant of this price point / caliber.

Dined at the bar in a skinny little space. Food was ok. We had the lamb chops and 2 of the 3 were not cooked to “chef’s” specifications. The squid ink pasta was good but it was so steaming hot that it took more than 10 minutes to cool down enough to eat. (Microwaved?). Octopus App was good. Wine list ok. It was not what we anticipated as we are fans of their other restaurants. Hopefully they iron out some of the kinks.

The octopus was the best octopus I've had. The seasoning was spot on and the romesco sauce with it was the perfect pairing. The Denver Cut was my favorite main dish and the biggest surprise for me as far as what I expected to love. The meat was so tender and the corn item served with it was great. Also a favorite of the night was the Eggplant Carpaccio. Unique and flavorful. The lamb chops were generous in the amount of meat and well-seasoned & perfectly cooked. Crab squid ink linguini is spicy so careful if you don't enjoy heat. I wish this dish had something along with it to give relief from the heat. Perhaps, this is a good spot to enjoy the Frena. The Frena (bread) was good. It comes with olives, pickled pepper and a pistachio butter. The butter was unique & we really liked it. Sea Bass carpaccio was good but not outstanding. It needed something to waken up the flavor a bit....maybe a tiny amount of salt? or more acid? The cocktails were good. One way to pick a drink is to ask what their cocktails are like. Is X cocktail like a Negroni? The sommelier helped us pick an Israeli wine and it was great. Overall, this was a great dinner. Be warned this is a loud restaurant. Beautiful bar and we would come back to drink and/or eat at the bar.

The restaurant was very loud. I had to fog over manager for drinks. I had to flag over waiter again because I had ordered wine in advance to have with entree and it didn’t arrive. Prices are very high for food that is yummy but not so unique that it warrants the prices.

My filet was best entree I've had in a long time. But the cocktails, appetizers, side, dessert, service, and atmosphere were just okay. For appetizers we tried eggplant and tuna tartare. Tuna was good. Eggplant was a dip that came with nothing to dip in it. For side we tried snow peas with harissa. We didn't care for them as I think of crispness as a snow pea's strength and these were cooked until mush. We didn't eat them and when offered a to-go, politely said we didn't care for them. Waiter responded. "Well, now you know." That is fine, but not exactly impressive. For dessert we tried pistachios four ways. It was basically yummy pistachio ice cream with a white chocolate crisp and a few pistachios sprinkled on it on a nice dish. Their signature Gin & Tonic had way too much lemon, so I switched to wine. Again when waiter saw I didn't like it, he simply said, "It is very lemon forward." The atmosphere is generally on trend (everything black) but doesn't really pop in any way. Won't likely return.

The staff members are very kind but some need to improve the service. The appetizers were very good but the main dish took longer than usual to come and wasn’t really good.

We loved the eggplant, the Greek salad, the octopus, the steak and fois gras, and the wine. The servers were awesome! The music was very loud and it was slightly hard to hear each other and more difficult to hear the servers. I would return and will hope the noise levels get better. Overall fantastic food!

Really enjoyed the restaurant. The octopus was excellent, and the butternut squash was amazing. Also the basque cheese cake was phenomenal. Too loud- that’s pretty much the only negative of the restaurant. Will come back.
