What a hidden gem! Having been to Japan recently I was really missing their food, and this restaurant serves authentic Japanese food, beautifully presented in a environment that makes you feel like you are back there. Fabulous service, reasonably priced, great atmosphere and the food was so yummy. We are feeling the need to go back very soon and work our way through all this delicious dishes they serve!

Overall it was a very disappointing experience and we would not come back here neither recommend here. We really regret coming here in the end. Many people commented ‘authentic’, not sure what they really meant though we can only say that the interior and decorations are a kind of very ‘nostalgic’ atmosphere of Showa era. We had some drinks and ordered Special Okan okonomiyaki and Wagyu Teppanyaki with padron peppers from a special board. Both plates had no flavours and very ‘amateur’ cooking. Especially Wagyu Teppanyaki was very disappointing and poor, small portion of thin sliced beef sautéed with some strong sauce and some shredded leek and some sautéed padron peppers which was served with more strong sauce aside, which was £20. Unbelievable. Very poor taste and volume for £20. At this point, we decided to move on to a different place… The service was hood in general. However the food quality was quite poor. Just shame.

Absolutely lovely Japanese place. It's like stepping through the door from Waterloo to a backstreet restaurant in Osaka. Delicious food, lovely staff and really cute little place. And really reasonably priced. Highly recommended!

Good vegan options and great desserts. Tables close together but relaxed atmosphere and definitely value for money. Highly recommend.
