It's a small restaurant, so a little cramped, but not in any way that causes a problem. Ultimately, the food and service were great and will definitely be going back, probably many times.

Really enjoyed the food and the atmosphere! Staff were extremely friendly and provided thee best customer service! Loved it and I will definitely be dining here again!!

Fantastic experience. Food and service was incredible, the sushi was incredibly fresh, ambience was really nice and prices were pretty reasonable for being in central London. Would 100% go back when in London again.

Overall an excellent experience. We were greeted and sat down straight away. All the food was delicious, the service was good. Would definitely come here again: thank you!

The food was really great, however the service was somewhat lacking. When I entered there was not anyone at the front of the restaurant to greet you in. This happened throughout the night with different groups waiting at the door at a bit sheepishly to be let in. A lot of the staff seemed a bit distracted, and it was hard to get anyone's attention. I felt very bad for a lady in the staff who seemed to be doing the vast majority of the work. After asking her colleagues to put candles on the tables in the evening, she then had to ask them again to light the candals which seems like a bit of a no-brainer. The table is for an hour and a half, but an hour in a member of staff asked if we were finished with a plate we were still eating from. So I got the feeling that may be we were being hinted at to go. Again, the food was really fantastic and the prices for the area are really reasonable. However the service would make me no want to go back in a hurry. Thank you.

A nice surprise in busy Chinatown, the food was fresh and delicious, especially the OITA roll. Will def be back

Had a family lunch for our daughter’s 18th birthday. Wendy and her team were very welcoming and the service was attentive. The food and cocktails were amazing. The sushi was fresh and the chicken katsu curry was amazing. The raspberry mojito is also highly recommended! This will now be our go to place for sushi in London. Thanks for making our daughter’s day special. X

The food was wonderful as were the waiting staff. Unfortunately when we arrived we were immediately told by the front of house staff member that we were early, which I don't believe we were as we arrived at the stated time and then this was followed up with being told immediately when the table was required back. It didn't feel like a very warm welcome, which marred the atmosphere a little. Fortunately the waiting staff who took care of our order and service from there were great and the food was delicious. I understand the need to be clear about table time but this was on my booking email already and maybe could have been handled a little more gently when we arrived to remind us.

On holiday in London, we have visited numerous establishments that serve sushi , OITA far being the worst. The service was slow and unattentive, with the execption of one gentleman who was very helpful (we didnt get his name). We ordered appetizers and sat for literally 45 minutes with nothing, then all of our food was brought out at once. The sushi was sub-par, particularly the “toro” which was thin and chewy. The yellowtail and scallops were acceptable, but not stellar. The drinks were watered down and overly sweet/floral. Overall, a very poor experience. Spend a few extra dollars, go to Akira, and you wont be disappointed.
