We invite all groups of 9+ to dine on our omakase menu - this option is for our wagyu omakase. This menu allows larger groups to dine smoothly "izakaya style" (small shared plates) also showcasing some of our favourite items. It is designed to be light and great value, allowing large groups to gather in our venue at reasonable cost and add sushi, sashimi or other faves. The wagyu omakase consists of the following dishes to share - miso soup, plain edamame, pork gyoza, karaage chicken , yakitori (1 skewer of each pp) – pumpkin + salmon, wagyu steak. We have 3 x booths that sit groups of 5-7 people. We will generally give these to the first groups that book of this size, this option is only for customers that would like to GUARANTEE a booth. If you would like to gaurantee a booth any night of the week you can do so by paying $50 per person in advance to your visit. This amount will be added as a credit to your bill so the final cost is zero. If you prefer not to guarantee a booth and roll the dice, use the booking option below and we will do our best to accommodate you. Thanks + happy dining

We invite all groups of 9+ to dine on our omakase menu - this option is for the standard omakase. This menu allows larger groups to dine smoothly "izakaya style" (small shared plates) also showcasing some of our favourite items. It is designed to be light and great value, allowing large groups to gather in our venue at reasonable cost and add sushi, sashimi or other faves. The standard omakase consists of the following dishes to share - miso soup, plain edamame, pork gyoza, karaage chicken , yakitori (1 skewer of each pp) – pumpkin + salmon. Went here to celebrate my birthday with the girls and the service was amazing, food 10/10 and arrived quickly. they make amazing cocktails i will definitely be coming back thank you

I think this venue is overpriced. The location is very poor - in an alley way leading to a Woolworths supermarket. The table for two was so tiny, there was hardly any room for the three first courses of the banquet which were served pretty much at the same time. The service started off great but it was non existent towards the end. Our table was not cleared up for 30 minutes after we finished, while we hoped someone would come with a dessert menu. I had to ask for the dessert menu - ordered Macha cheesecake and ice cream - you would think that they will be already prepared in fridge/freezer. I had to follow up the waiter for our desserts, and he came back saying it was going to be another five minutes, by this time we were there for 2 1/2 hours (our sitting was only supposed to be for 2 hours). We asked for our desserts to take them home - we could not be bothered having our desert on a small table for two loaded with empty plates. Definitely would not recommend or go again. Plenty of better eating options around.

We were really looking forward to dining here, but unfortunately, the experience was very disappointing. Despite having a 9pm reservation, we were rushed to order almost immediately after sitting down. The server informed us that the kitchen was about to close, which felt unnecessary given our confirmed booking time. The waiter was curt & impatient, which completely killed any semblance of a pleasant dining atmosphere. To make matters worse, while we were still finishing our drinks, staff started mopping the floors, making us feel even more unwelcome. We weren’t given the opportunity to order dessert, and it was clear they just wanted us to leave as quickly as possible. If the restaurant has strict closing procedures, this should be made clear during the booking process. Unfortunately, the rushed and unprofessional experience overshadowed the meal itself. We will not be returning—there are plenty of restaurants that treat their customers with more respect.

Unfortunately the food wasn't Japanese authentic. Tempura was definitely not authentic. Very greasy deep fried takeaway style. While the flavour of the Tuna Taco was nice, the suchi taco shell was very unappealing and had the impression it has been remade a few days before. Won't be going back. Had to get severs attention to order more food, also. They were not too busy to for us to be overlooked.

To be honest we can’t rate the food. We waited 20 minutes before walking out, after not being served or acknowledged once since being sat at our table. We arrived at 6:45pm, as we booked on Open Table and left at 7:10pm after approaching the staff to tell them we had not been acknowledged. It was super disappointing.

Mixed shared plates with many options. An interesting collection of dishes. They didn't disappoint but didn't bowl me over with that I must return feeling. The wagyu sando was tasty but not attended to in the meticulous Japanese way.
