Situé sur Exhibition Road, au cœur de South Kensington, le restaurant Ognisko est à quelques pas du musée d'histoire naturelle, du musée des sciences, de la salle de concert Royal Albert Hall et de l'université London Imperial College. Occupant un magnifique édifice victorien accueillant le club Ognisko Polskie Club, l'Ognisko sert principalement une cuisine d'Europe orientale et centrale. Ouvert toute la journée, le bar sert des plats légers ainsi que des desserts alléchants. Il propose une grande variété de vodkas aux fruits et aux épices, des cocktails classiques et une petite sélection de bières provenant de brasseries polonaises. Pouvant accueillir jusqu'à 80 personnes, le restaurant possède une terrasse donnant sur des jardins communs d'une capacité de 40 personnes. Il comprend aussi un grand espace d'événements au premier étage pour les conférences organisées en journée, les mariages et les fêtes d'entreprise.

You need to know that Ognisko is where it is to find it. However its friendly, welcoming, has excellent service and the food fantastic and reasonably priced given it's location.

Lunch with a friend on our way to the Albert Hall. Lovely venue. Great ambiance while easy for conversation. We felt we had picked the best in this area. Set menu was great value and good food. Coffee also very good. Feels very Polish.

Perfect date night spot. Authentic Polish food, ambiance was stunning and the location itself was beautiful. Food was unreal and service was spot on. Would highly recommend. On the pricer side but it makes up for it in quality and portion size.

An excellent excellent unusual restaurant with authentic and very tasty dishes. The waiter was friendly efficient and helpful. Thank you for an fine dinner.

A lovely venue, excellent food and very friendly staff. Also close to museums so an ideal lunch location.

I’ve had Polish food all my life, never experienced it prepared and plated in such a fancy way! Food was outstanding and our waiter was very nice, though I did not get his name.

We come to Ognisko regularly and always appreciate the atmosphere, the fantastic food and impeccable service. The dishes are always copious and the host makes you feel welcome. We highly recommend it!
