Situé sur Exhibition Road, au cœur de South Kensington, le restaurant Ognisko est à quelques pas du musée d'histoire naturelle, du musée des sciences, de la salle de concert Royal Albert Hall et de l'université London Imperial College. Occupant un magnifique édifice victorien accueillant le club Ognisko Polskie Club, l'Ognisko sert principalement une cuisine d'Europe orientale et centrale. Ouvert toute la journée, le bar sert des plats légers ainsi que des desserts alléchants. Il propose une grande variété de vodkas aux fruits et aux épices, des cocktails classiques et une petite sélection de bières provenant de brasseries polonaises. Pouvant accueillir jusqu'à 80 personnes, le restaurant possède une terrasse donnant sur des jardins communs d'une capacité de 40 personnes. Il comprend aussi un grand espace d'événements au premier étage pour les conférences organisées en journée, les mariages et les fêtes d'entreprise.

    This was such a wonderful experience. I met my son here for dinner. I can’t say enough good things about the staff or the food. We sat down and delicious bread and pickles arrived instantly. We had duck and fig pierogi & sauerkraut and mushroom pierogi and they were genuinely the best I have ever tasted. My son had a perfect schnitzel and I had salt beef with radish salad, horseradish sauce and potatoes. I shall remember it for a long time. We had frozen honey vodka and frozen raspberry vodka. Heavenly. It was all perfect. The service was so delightful. The lady who greeted us and re-charged my phone (!) was an angel and our waitress was a dream.

    We took two friends who had not been before and like us they loved it . Wonderful food and excellent service from highly professional staff. We had an issue with the bill ( very mino) but it was dealt with promptly and with curtesy. Big Thank You’s all round.

    Ognisko restaurant offers not only a stunning setting but also exceptional food that truly stands out. The dumplings, in particular, were a highlight, but every dish was packed with flavour and beautifully presented. Whether you're planning a romantic date or a business meeting, this place has the perfect atmosphere for both. Highly recommend giving it a try!

    My favourite London restaurant! Excellent food, charming and attentive staff, lovely cosmopolitan atmosphere. and a perfect jumping off point for the Royal Albert Hall!

    Good fare for a pre-Prom dinner, efficiently ordered and promptly served. A good range of choices on the set menu. Ambience was a bit too noisy. Came back later for some post concert drinks, by which time it was extremely noisy.

    Busy, buzzy, fun and friendly bar and restaurant. Went to eat in the marquee area at the back after a drink in the bar. Efficient and friendly service, and such an interestingly different, Polish menu. Good, not overly high markup, on wine list.
