Oggi Italian is a small and authentic Italian restaurant. We pride ourselves on providing an exceptional dining experience for our customers which can often mean longer than normal wait times to receive our amazing food. If you are looking for a faster service option, we may not be your best choice, however, please let your server know and we will be happy to provide an estimated timeframe.

As an Italian custom, OGGI guests are treated like family. Guests are greeted with a complimentary Antipasto, and an OGGI House salad with every meal. We finish with a complimentary Espresso.

We are open for in-house dining and also have plenty of outdoor seating.

We strongly encourage making reservations directly through the restaurant.

I had high hopes for this place, but unfortunately, the food fell short. We took a friend out for a birthday dinner…The flavor profiles of most dishes were underwhelming. The veal marsala was particularly disappointing…I would have preferred the veal seared….it had a rubbery texture that made it less enjoyable. The cheese wheel, which we were all excited for, also didn’t meet expectations. However, the highlight of the experience was the wine window. It brought a touch of Italy with the way the drinks were served, which was truly a unique and delightful touch. While the food missed the mark, the drinks saved the experience to some extent.

We were so excited to try this place for our anniversary. We haven’t been to Davis Island in a while and love the little downtown area. The place is super cute and had a great vibe. The bread and tomato mix they bring out was tasty, and our waitress was friendly and easy to talk to. She soon seemed to be stretched thin and we ended up waiting a long time for water refills, the check and someone finally took pity on us and picked up our card so we could close out and head home. My husband had the house salad that came with his meal, and I upgraded to the Caesar with my meal. The anchovies used were stronger than we have ever tasted before - I couldn’t eat it and passed it to my husband (who normally likes everything) and it was too strong for him as well. We mentioned it to the waitress but perhaps we are in the minority who felt this way? Unsure. Eggplant Parmesan is one of my favorite Italian dishes, so that was an easy choice for me. It was a huge helping so great value for price, but was flavorless. The tomato sauce was watery and even with chile pepper flakes, salt and pepper - it just missed the mark for me. My husband ordered the Diavolo Penne which was ahead ah-mazing!! It’s very spicy (which we love) and I totally found myself wishing I had gone for that instead. We will try again and avoid the caesar and eggplant parmesan next time. And maybe sit at the bar so we have more timely interactions with the staff.

Unfortunately the food was par at best. Very bland, unseasoned, lacked love. The Veal Marsala was dry, no sauce. It was ordered with angel hair VS linguini and the other 2 meals came out and my wife had to wait another 5-8 minutes and it still wasn't right... The salad was poorly dressed. Overall not a great night - not sure we will return

Such a cute and fun place! Took our friends for their 24th wedding anniversary and they loved it! food is delicious! Love love love the little window like in Tuscany where you get your drinks!!

Everything about this restaurant was fantastic from drinks, appetizers, meal selection and desserts. The staff was helpful and friendly. The food was was delicious. I will definitely be going back whenever I am in the Tampa area.
