We had an absolutely great afternoon. Anita worked her butt off as she was the only waitress!! She had many tables outside and us plus 2 others inside. She deserves a raise!!!!

As usual the food was delicious. We were very disappointed in that we were not told that there was a 20% gratuity attached to us as we were a table of 6. The service was absolutely terrible which was extremely frustrating, especially because we were there celebrating a birthday. Would recommend take out but the patio really needs to step up their service.

We went for our Anniversary and it was our first time. Restaurant is in a former old home and had comfortable decor. Food was absolutely delicious and very large portions! We had the Bruschetta, Mixed Green Salad, Osso Bucco served over risotto, Chicken Parmigiana served with potatoes and vegetables and for dessert shared a Pecan Carmel cheesecake. Attentive & friendly wait staff and prices were reasonable. Definitely going to come back with friends.

Waitress not knowledgeable about menu. Grandson asked for lemonade and it wasn’t available. He asked for pop she said they were low on pop and he ended up with a sprite. The only alcohol available was wine. Calamari had no dipping sauce. Waitress said they don’t put dipping sauce anymore. Never have I ever ordered calamari and no dipping sauce. All our appetizers were good. After we were done appetizers she asked if she should order up the entrees we said yes. Entrees arrived within 1 minute. So they were ready and sitting around because when they arrived they were room temperature. The appetizer plates were not cleared before entrees arrived and I found myself clearing plates to make room for entrees. I’ve been there before and had the veal parm and it was amazing. This time it was not hot barely warm. When I removed some of the sauce because it was swimming in it I was so disappointed because it was mostly sauce and coating from the sooooo paper thin meat. The pasta was sticky and overcooked. When we were done eating waitress removed our plates and brought a box for my grandson pizza. And then we sat and waited. It was at least half hour before she asked if we wanted anything else. We would have loved a coffee and desserts but by this point we just wanted to get out of there. We were forgotten in the corner and invisible. When I made the reservation on line it asked if we were celebrating an occcasion. My reply was yes 2 birthdays. One was my husband and the other was my birthday. The reservation was made on the actual day I turned 65. It was so disappointing and exhausting. I realize businesses are struggling with staff issues but this is exactly how you lose business. Will I come back or refer friends ? I really can’t answer that question right now. We left there went to my daughter and had coffee and my grandson felt so bad about no dessert for my birthday that he created and ice cream sundae with cookies. That was the best part of my 65th birthday.

This was our first time there as we had a WagJag deal. The restaurant was small but quaint. The waitress was very friendly. The food was amazing! We started off with bruschetta bread, our main course (we had chicken parm and veal parm) and then Red Velvet cheesecake which was to die for! We look forward to going back to try a different dish!

We love going to Oggi Bistro in Grimsby. Whether it's before the Library Author's gathering, with friends mid-week or on weekends. The food is amazing, the staff really accommodating and the chef willing to make small changes to guests liking. The owners are friendly and try to visit the tables and say "hi". I really appreciate how this restaurant has only gotten better.
