Offshore is a bright and airy rooftop bar open year-round on the third floor at the East end of Navy Pier. With collapsable floor to ceiling windows you get sweeping views of Lake Michigan and Chicago’s city skyline. Our globally inspired menu features items from coast to coast that include light to substantial fares.

21 years of age and older after 9pm daily.
The last reservation is one hour before closing.

Offshore offers several unique options for booking your next event for groups of 15-950. Guests have the opportunity to buy-out the 8,500 square foot indoor space, with curvy, custom brass whistle-shaped light fixtures, captain chairs, and oversized “playpens” made of a mashup of geometric cushions specifically designed for socializing. Guests can also opt to celebrate on the 20,000 square foot Terrace, where two private lawns act as a destination for group gaming, social and corporate events, weddings, and more paired with a completely unique perspective of the Chicago skyline not found anywhere else.

My experience was terrible because after we were seated it took 20 mins to get water and the waiter never came back to our table for us to place our order. It wasn’t even crowded either and to top it off it was my mom’s birthday as well as our first time there!! First impressions are lasting Offshore we were ignored and overlooked. Oh and the horrible service wasn’t due to staff a shortage everyone came to work on this rainy day but not to work!!

Horrible and slow service. Food quality was not good. Made reservations, and when trying to add on others to the party, told that it was not possible, but when we arrived to the restaurant, it was more than half empty. Ridiculous. The wait staff was also super slow and unfriendly.

Very bad server the one that is wearing sunglasses. Full of bugs, we didn’t enjoy the food, a bug is in every bite. We had to replace water cups too. They didn’t warn us that they have issues with bugs outdoor, very filthy. After paying and getting ready to leave, server said “ oh yeah we have had issues all day with outdoor setting and bugs” Should’ve warned us, they ruined our anniversary dinner!

We made a reservation at 10p in order to view the fireworks while having dinner, which I specifically stated to the hostess. We arrived early (8:45p) in hopes to be seated prior to our reservation. We were told that being seated early wouldn’t be a problem. (Surprisingly they weren’t that busy) We patiently waited two feet from the reservation desk for our names to be called. At 9:20p I asked whether they would still be able to accommodate us earlier than our reservation time. We were informed that they had called our names multiple times and that they assumed we didn’t want the reservation. I explained that we had been standing there waiting the entire time, unsure of how we didn’t hear our names and unsure of how she didn’t see us (we were a party of 8) Graciously, we were able to be seated before our reservation but the table was on the other side of the resturant. The food was just “ok” Ideally, you should have dinner elsewhere and come here just for the drinks and outdoor atmosphere.

Very difficult to find this place and a very big traffic to get there . It was a ruined evening for us. I wouldn't recommend this place for tourists.

We paid for a Fireworks experience on their outdoor patio for 7/6, which was also my Birthday. When we arrived, they sat us at an indoor table. I tried explaining to the manager that an inside table is not what your description online explains for this experience. They told me I'd have to ask for a refund through Open Table which is also NOT the case considering this was an "Experience". I was very disappointed we did not have patio seating for this occasion. There were 6 of us that flew to Chicago from Atlanta for our Birthday and spent $90 for nothing!

Service was very slow even though they did not appear busy. It took 20-30 minutes to get seated after check in and about 30 minutes before served. After the waiter took orders we waited 20 minutes for our first drink. Food did not come as ordered and one person in our party waited over an hour for a drink

We didn’t have any food. We just went to see the fireworks. Did not get table service so cannot comment on the service although absolutely no one checked on us and we were seated. Went to the bar to get drinks, they were fine. Atmosphere was fine. Great place to see the navy pier fireworks.
