We at Off The Rails pride ourselves on being one of the most unique places to eat and drink on the Isle of Wight; set along the old railway line (“Causeway") in Yarmouth’s former train station, the restaurant overlooks the outstanding natural beauty of the Yarmouth Marshes and Mill Copse. There is no other view like ours in Yarmouth. Being located along the Causeway makes it the perfect pitstop for walkers, cyclists, and those visiting the Isle of Wight as the restaurant is just a 5-minute stroll from the Yarmouth Wightlink Ferry terminal.

We openly welcome dogs in our restaurant and offer an extensive dog menu, which includes a range of dry meals, treats, and even dog-friendly ice cream to keep them cool during the summer months.

    Idyllic location and food outstanding. Had three dogs and two picky youngster, thought it would end being hell, don't like this or that BUT once one bite and beautiful presentation served by polite and attentive staff, the kids loved it and so did all of us. Would highly recommend

    The service with a smile was so welcoming throughout, so rare these days and they were super busy. The food was delicious, one of our favourite spots in Yarmouth.

    What a wonderful find, recommend by sister cafe The Bandstand in Sandown. Full of character and efficient pleasant staff. Recommend booking!

    Lovely character to the building and restaurant. The pictures hanging on the wall of the old station in use. The menus were fantastic and wish we could have eaten there all day. Breakfast was amazing but all the food looked incredible. Also one of the best coffees I’ve had in a long time. Can’t wait to come back!

    Do not miss the Sunday specials - the one I ordered on the 9th June will live in my memory forever. They are to each person a dream come true, this is a truly special place and I cannot recommend it highly enough

    Love going to ‘Off the Rails’ the service is exemplary, could not wish for better. The food is delicious, beautifully served. The atmosphere is very welcoming even for my (snappy) little dog.

    This was our first time eating at off the rails and we were very happy , the food was hot and tasty . We will definitely be back .

    The food and service are always excellent at Off The Rails. We last ate there on Fathers Day, so it was very busy, but the speed of service and quality of food never faltered. All the staff, front of house and in the kitchen, are very friendly and welcoming.

    What a delight of a place. Wanted somewhere different to try for Father's Day breakfast. Service was brilliant, atmosphere was relaxed and fun, food was delicious. Couldnt have asked for better. Wont be our last family trip to Off The Rails. Will be bringing our family dog next time to enjoy treats from the dog specific menu.
