Welcome to The Odyssey Restaurant, Winchester.

An elegant, vibrant dining location on the edge of the stunning South Downs. The outdoor terrace offers a breath of fresh air, whilst the open kitchen allows you to see the chefs expertly prepare mouth-watering food.

Produced by our Head Chef, the menu offers a unique blend of dishes made using local produce sourced from local award-winning farms plus a range of delicious hand stretched pizzas cooked in the restaurant’s very own pizza oven.

The adjoining bar serves a refreshing selection of beverages including premium spirits and indulgent cocktails making it the perfect space to unwind after a busy day or to celebrate a special occasion.

Had two main courses the pie of the week which was chicken leek and ham with mash which my wife said was delicious I had the steak sandwich which was made with sirloin and cheese with skin on fries, which was just perfect.

Both the staff that waited on us were so friendly and put up with our jokes.... The food was so good. My husband had the pizza with the pine nuts on, he is not easy to please, and he has not stopped commenting on how good it was... I would definitely recommend it to others.

Made to feel very welcome. Lovely, cheerful staff who looked like they were making everyone days feel better. Food and drink all exactly as we expected. A great start to the day

This was a post business meeting lunch of 5 people, week day lunchtime and the restaurant was very quiet. The service wasnt speedy, the food did take a good while to arrive but it was freshly cooked so worth the wait. The restaurant/cafe is clean and basic but welcoming. The menu is very good and the food on both occasions we have eaten there has been above average. Value for money it is pub prices or higher but no complaints.

Was very impressed with the hotel restaurant. Restaurant is very light and spacious, service very friendly and food was well prepared and presented. Plenty of parking. Very convenient for Winchester Space and Science centre. Will definitely go back again.

Really not the place to go for afternoon tea... sandwiches were dry,cake not appetising,no pot of tea or coffee offered just mugs ....sat looking out on scaffolding....not impressed at all and definitely not worth the money....

Very pleasantly surprised by this restaurant. From previous reviews we didn't expect too much for the food, but the food was very tasty, served nice and hot, and in a short time. We had either the pork belly or lamb shank and both were well presented. The service was also first class, with a cheery smile. Would definitely eat here again.
