We were very excited to have brunch at Odettes. Unfortunately, we were underwhelmed. The food was outstanding. We had the pancake flight, avocado toast with scrambled eggs and bacon, and the western omelet. All delicious! But the service.... Our drinks took so long coming out that the server didn't charge us for them. We had to get up and get our own silverware after asking for it. My daughter's entree was not brought out until 10+ minutes after our entrees and after we had to ask again for it again. Such a bummer. The ambience and views were incredible and as I said before, the food was great. Unfortunately, the poor service will keep us from returning.

Sat outside, tons of spiders hovering above the table, music was too loud. Service was just okay but likely because we were outside. I think expectations were just too high.

Now that it’s under new management menu and food is very good. Last night service was not good (at all) entrees took 45 mins + and if we hadn’t reminded it would have been longer. Need to work on service.

The restaurant is beautiful! The scallops were delicious. My guest's fish was dry, overcooked. Service did not have the fine dining touch. I would go back though for sure.

This is not as a complaint, but as constructive criticism for the restaurant, because things are fixable. Will preface this by writing I've waited tables and worked in kitchens in diners and top-notch restaurants. First, parking: having to Valet for $10 for dinner, at a suburban restaurant (that isn't in the center of New Hope) is silly. If offsetting the cost for not having available parking for your establishment is a problem (and it shouldn't be), fold it into the cost of the meal so it isn't the last thing people are thinking about when leaving. Decor, setting, and atmosphere was nice. Service was acceptable. Drinks were expensive. $17/18 for a mixed drink is silly, even in today's economy. Food was generally poor, especially considering the prices. Personally had seafood over linguine. Not sure if the pasta was fresh, but it was definitely overcooked (which should *never* happen with pasta at a decent restaurant) and over-salted (but that can be a taste thing). Some of the mussels and clams had no meat within the shell. Acceptable if that happens with one, maybe two, but no more than that. Total lack-of-attention to detail by a chef on presentation. Total bill for 4 drinks, 2 appetizers, 2 salads, 4 entrees (one of which was a crab cake sandwich) -- $295. So considering parking cost and tips, $200 per couple for a below average meal. Price-points either need to be adjusted, or more focus on food quality and presentation -- *the* most important part of any restaurant, especially for repeat business.
