This place is fantastic, has the feeling of going to family gathering at Christmas time... everyone fed, happy, cracking jokes and talking no phone scrolling unless they are taking pictures of food or each other. Place can get busy quickly, food is delicious and well presented and the drinks are gooooood. Music and vibes helps that home feeling. Only thing missing is somewhere to shake off the food coma 😋😋😋

So I went to this resturant Aith beta high expectations and this sadly not the experience that I had , the oxtail ,Curry goat and curry chicken had no taste and needed more seasoning and the grey was just water . The rice looked like we had got the bottom of the pot and if the food had no flavour then it was just spice that yiu could taste then at the end I asked for a container to be told that it would be a 10 pounds charge although I had just paid 50 pounds per person . I will not be returning I ring again and feel that it overpriced for what you get the staffs face was just push up and only 1 member of staff had good customer service

A different Caribbean restaurant concept, a mix between tapas and buffet. Either opt for one of the two buffet options or order from the a là carte menu. We chose the cheaper buffet option at £30 per head (your table has to order the same option). You have 3 order rounds for your time at the restaurant. You choose from a list of items for round 1. Once done you order round 2. If you are still hungry after that you can order round 3, but beware that your "eyes aren't too big for belly" as there is a wastage fee to pay. The difference between the £30 and £50 options are the number of items in each round. The service was good and efficient, the orders came flying out of the kitchen. The staff were very patient in explaining the process. We all enjoyed the tasty food which was served in a number of tapas style bowls for each round. Special mention for the curries and the peppered shrimps. Ackee fried rice was original. We spent £200 between 5 of us which included drinks and a well deserved 12.5% service charge. The only adverse observation to mention is that the rice n peas was drier than expected (possibly because left in a warmer after cooking?). Potato salad ldo didn't seem that appetising. Overall, a very good experience.

Friendly staff great value for money as you receive 3 rounds we were seated late so was unable to have our 3 round but we were very full by then. Overall had an okay time better for casual eating with family and friends.

Food was ok, some items were overcooked and dry. Unfortunately the service lets them down. There was no general customer service, checking we were ok, any issues with food etc. There was a long wait for the food, for a bottle of water, for the bill....by the time the first round of food came and was eaten there was no point going for a second round as we would have needed to leave the table which they told us several times we only had for 2hrs. Also menu is slightly misleading as all they advertise is that it's £30pp all you can eat or a la carte when the reality is for for the food items you would really want (jerk chicken, oxtail, mac & cheese) you would need to pay £50pp for all you can eat which in my opinion was not worth it. Then they want to charge you £10 wastage fee for food left on the plate!

I took my family here for Fathers day, it was our second visit. The food was amazing and service great. We will definitely be returning.

We were told by one server that we could choose from any of the 3 menus however we were then told as a group we would all have to choose from one of the 3 menus so if you book as a group and one person wants the buffet menu and another person wants to pick from the ala carte menu this is not possible. I ordered a vegan burger jollof rice and plantain. The server said the burger would take 20 mins and asked me I would like the rice and plantain while I waited. The rice arrived without the plantain. 20 mins later I had to ask for the plantain. I then had to wait another 40 minutes for the vegan burger which the server then almost dropped and the burger fell apart. Another members of the group said the vegan curry was bland and like a soup, rather than a curry. The rice was unpleasant and grainy. Another person said their fried fish was tasteless and needed seasoning. I ordered a second drink whilst waiting for the burger that was over 40 minutes in the making. The drink never came. When we arrived the restaurant was not overly bust and so there was no apparent reason for the delays. Noone came to the table to explain what the delay was or to apologise. I would NOT recommend this place 4 to anyone. Both food and service need to be addressed.

Booked a table for 2, where there was no option to book seating. However, was told seats were reserved. So not sure sure how the seats were booked. Was shown to sit on a table with no back support and when asked to move they didn’t. Food was mediocre at best, except jerk chicken. Ambience was crap and not good value for money at all

Staff were welcoming, attentive, on the ball and nothing was a bother. The food was great when it came out, every dish was hot and freshly made. The atmosphere was a vibe, music was great. Will definitely come again.

Good authentic Caribbean food with lots of variety of dishes. If you don't mind spending a bit of money the go for £50 buffet where you will get a taste of everything on the menu. You can order as much as you want until you have to tap out. If you don't have a big appetite alternatively go for the A la carte or you for the £30 buffet, which is restricted. Curry goat is one of things that is not included. The rum punch is really good and good value.
