Situated in a glass conservatory overlooking the River Walk, Ocho serves breakfast, lunch, dinner and late-night snacks indoors and on our breezeway. Ocho has created a menu rooted in the hotel’s pan-Latin cultural influences from Mexico, Cuba and Texas. The cocktail menu highlights the tequila of the hotel’s San Antonio roots with the rum of its Cuban namesake, with a love for old school recipes and, when the occasion calls, the simple satisfaction an ice cold Michelada. Ocho offers complimentary wifi and serves Stumptown espresso drinks to stay or take away.

Ate outside which was very nice. One, if not, the best Cuban sandwich we’ve had. We shared 1 appetizer (ceviche was great), Caesar salad, and Cuban sandwich. It was just right. Price was good.

The food was incredible! Table was a bit small for three but not enough to detract from the beautiful blend of spices and culinary talent.

A wonderful experience with absolutely delicious food. The Mexican bread pudding is the best we've ever had!

Ocho has a unique vibe in a city where Tex-Mex cuisine rules. From the beautiful hotel to the view of the river whilst sitting in a greenhouse type setting, this restaurant has it all, including parking! The service is friendly and attentive yet not intrusive. The menu is an interesting take on Cuban tradition and the cocktail menu is enticing.

We waited over 40 minutes for appetizers before a show at The Tobin. Kitchen service was slow, and our order was inaccurate. I love the building and the food though.

Service was very slow. We allowed a hour and an half for drinks and snacks before performance at the Tobin. Because the service was so slow we did not get to stay for our coffee and dessert and had to walk very briskly to the theater. Will think twice about going here again if I have another appointment.

Beautiful ambience but service was a bit slow and I wish they had a serrated spoon for my bruleed grapefruit- it was quite a mess to eat with a soup spoon but otherwise, delicious food.
