    Ocean Prime is a really nice restaurant with good ambiance. They have nice street view booths however these are close to the bar so the noise level is elevated. There are more intimate quieter booths on the other side of the restaurant that’s less noisy. They also have private rooms. Service is always great. You have a primary server and a secondary that makes sure you’re attended to. Our server was Jessica. She was wonderful. I’d request her in the future.

    Just almost perfect experience from start to finish. Greeted wonderfully at the hostess station and they asked us if we would like a private table overlooking the outside instead of sitting at the bar. Of course! We were greeted by the assistant server, I didn’t even know there was one! And she and the head waitress were amazing. Food was nothing short of spectacular and while we never get desserts, we both did and could not have been happier. Not cheap but worth every penny if you’re looking for a top notch experience.

    The Blackened Redfish had far too much cream sauce over it. It would have been much better if had a light butter sauce so you could actually taste the fish. My wife's oysters were tiny. Prices were high for what you got.

    Great restaurant! We were a 5 top which can mean you get crowded in -- not here. We had a comfortable table, were not overwhelmed by nearby noise, and our wait staff was just the right amount of attentive. Now of course what matters most? FOOD was GREAT.

    I’d been wanting to try this place and finally had the chance. Excellent ambiance, exactly what I was hoping for: quiet, dark, warm and cozy, good vibe. Ordered the snapper and crab cake as meals. The snapper was overcooked and the crab cake was very salty. Told the waitress, she spoke w the manager who came to our table and assured us the problem would be corrected. Our new meals were cooked to perfection, seasoned well and not salty. We had Old Fashioneds, delicious and well balanced cocktails. But for the mishap w the meal, I’d give Ocean Prime a solid five stars. We look forward to going again, the service is exceptional and what we expect at such restaurants.

    We have been in DC for a little less than a week. This was by far the best food and best service we’ve had. Serena was our server and she made this whole experience pop. She was knowledgeable, her recommendations were spot on, and super fun to hang out with for the evening. Can’t wait to go back.
