Opening December 21, 2024, Ocean Prime is a nationally acclaimed, dynamic seafood & steakhouse from the award-winning Cameron Mitchell Restaurants located in the The Quay Sarasota. Ocean Prime delivers an elevated experience with exceptional ambiance, a chef-curated menu, signature handcrafted cocktails, Wine Spectator honored wine list and genuine hospitality. Great menu. A lot to choose from and very dynamic. There is something for everyone. The steak and lobster Mac was very good. Great service!

Our party of four had an unbelievable experience. The Server, Adam Pratt, was outstanding. He was extremely passionate about his job and provided insight into all Menu items. His interactions were impeccable, providing superior service while also being very interactive and professional. The food was outstanding. Lobster Bisque - Easily the best my Wife and I have ever had. Its creaminess and flavor were beyond reproach. Nigiri (Salmon Belly), Ahi Tuna, and Crab Cocktail - All phenomenal. The crab was super succulent. Wagyu Filet, Wagyu Manhattan, 8oz Filet - These were all "melt" in your mouth and cooked to perfection. The scallop entree was also very good. The scallops were cooked perfectly. The risotto was very good, and the presentation was outstanding. Truffl;e Mac & Cheese was some of the best I have ever tasted. The asparagus is easily the Most Tender asparagus I have ever eaten. The Brussels sprouts were delicious. We finished with the 10-layer Carrot Cake - This was wonderful and the Pineapple sauce was an unbelievable compliment to the moistness of the cake. The cream cheese icing which usually overdoes the cake was the perfect compliment. Our only complaint was the Carrot Cake only had 9 layers. We showed Adam and had some lighthearted fun with it at the table. Thank you Oceans Prime Sarasota for such a memorable and delightful dining experience.

We had a great experience at the soft opening! The staff was helpful, happy and well-trained. The 2nd level bar menu had some great appetizers. We enjoyed the lamb lollypops and oysters. The french onion soup was next level. Truffle mac and cheese paired well with the filet. The creamed spinach was superb. Ended with butter cake that was the best. Highly recommend Ocean Prime. The restaurant and staff are amazing.

The elegant ambiance undergirded the attentive service (Nelson is an outstanding host/waiter) Winners included the Scallops, Gouda in-fused Tater Tots, 12-layer carrot cake.

This place is wonderful. Beautifully designed spaces, appropriate for a fine dining experience. Service was great, if a little over-the-top because it was the first night of a soft opening, and all the eyes of corporate and the restaurant management were focused everywhere. So at least some of the waitstaff were understandably nervous. But it didn’t take away anything from thoughtfully created and presented food and drink, with outstanding preparation and flavor. Congratulations! Your diligent work and careful attention to detail had great results. Good luck, going forward.
