Ordered the Pho Beef and Chicken Ramen both soups were not hot coming out to our table.

The beef skewer appetizer used to be melt in your mouth amazing and now it’s fatty meat drenched in a heavy salty teriyaki sauce. I couldn’t finish it. The fried rice (with chicken for $24) wasn’t nearly as good as what you can get at a decent Chinese restaurant for half the price. Just unauthentic. The formerly fabulous fortune cookie dessert used to be filled to the brim with custard/cream and this time it was just a flat layer on the bottom of the plate. Our waiter seemed haughty and dismissive. We’ve been coming to Ocean Hai since 2017 (Wyndham owners) and not sure we’ll be back, sad to say.

We have been coming to Ocean Hai for a couple years now and it has is always an excellent experience. Every item on the menu has been delicious and the staff is very friendly.

There were 5 of us. All of our meals (which were mostly tuna/salmon poke bowls) were phenomenal with the exception of the NY strip. The steak itself was cooked perfectly (medium rare), however, the Demi glaze was overpowering and tasted like leather ruining the steak. All 5 of us sampled the steak and collectively agreed it was terrible. Our server, Bryce, was excellent and he also spoke with management who removed the streak meal from our tab. We also had drinks (island margaritas) and deserts (crème brûlée and the fortune cookie desert and both were good. There was no tablecloth on our table - an oversight I’m sure- but the condensation from the water bottle/pitcher kept running off of the table into our laps. All in all, we will return.

One of the best dining experiences we had at Clearwater Beach. The service was what you would come to expect with an elevated dining experience. We had the Crab Rangoon and and Gem Salad to start. The crab was amazing, the salad was also very good but not for the price, it was way too small for what they charged. We also split the Crazy Rich sushi roll which was interesting with the waygu beef and was delicious. The Yellowtail Sashimi was perfect. We ended with a key lime pie and it was one of the better ones I’ve had. All in all a great experience but just be wary of some of the portion sizes, especially on their salads.

Absolutely love Ocean Hai, second year coming here when going to Clearwater and it is always a hit! They have a great drink menu and the bartender makes a great dirty martini. Everyone can find something on the menu and the prices really aren’t that bad! 10/10 recommend
