During the low season (from July 23rd to October 13th), we operate with 2 service times: 12:00 PM and 2:00 PM, and we close at 4:00 PM.

High season hours (starting October 15th) will be 11:00 AM, 1:00 PM, and 3:00 PM, with closing time at 5:00 PM.

To make a reservation, the system requires a non-refundable prepayment of $120 pesos per person for round-trip boat transportation. This amount is not refundable in case of cancellations or no-shows. If you hike in or arrive by your own boat, this payment will serve as a deposit and will be deducted from your bill on the day of your visit.

By making a reservation, you acknowledge and accept our reservation policies. Please visit our website for more information.

Please note; our weather and waves can change on a moment's notice. We may have to cancel the water taxi and close the restaurant if the waves are too high. This only happens occasionally but if we do you will receive a text on the phone number you leave with open table.

You can access Boca de Tomatlan by bus, Uber, or Taxi. We are 30 minutes south of Puerto Vallarta. Please go to the cement dock and our water taxi will pick you up 20 minutes before your reservation. Look for the boat with our shirts that say Ocean Grill.

Take a bus in Basilio Badillo street in Zona Romántica. It will drop you in the highway and need to walk down to the pier. Cabs or Uber will drop you off at the dock directly

Live band Saturday and a live DJ on Thursdays.

This is one of our favorite restaurant experiences in the world. Every time we come to Puerto Vallarta, we come to Ocean Grill. The only way to get here is by boat. The views are spectacular (especially from the bathroom!) and the drinks and food are fresh and delicious. One of the best meals you’ll have in PV. Do not skip it! It’s a meal to remember.

Ocean grill is our favorite PV restaurant. It is a big part of why we choose PV over other cities. The food is amazing and the staff. But the location is the best. Have to come by boat and ocean view is great. Stay after and swim.

It was a first for us to dine at Ocean Grill in the over 10 years coming to Vallarta. It did not disappoint! Excellent service and food……and those views are out of this world amazing.

Excellent experience! Little tricky figuring out exactly where to get the water taxi one we arrived at Boca de Tomatlán, and I did take a nasty fall getting into the water taxi, but after that was amazing. Food was so good, drinks were great and service was fantastic. Highly recommend this dining experience!

Nothing negative to say about The Ocean Grill. It was a lovely and delicious experience. Great service and delicious food served timely and hot. It’s a must do if you’re in PV!

What an experience! Highly recommend hiking in and working up an appetite for a meal that will not disappoint. Cash only so plan in advance, and also recommend taking the water taxi back, but cannot beat the service, freshness of the food, and the ambiance. Just otherworldly!!! Will be back again and again and again.
