We made a last minute reservation for dinner using the open table app. When we arrived it seemed that the restaurant was fully booked for the evening and our reservation was not taking into account, for the evenings seating plan. Even though this was the case, we were greeted graciously by the host and treated respectfully by our waiter. Everything we ordered was excellent, from the bread to the drinks. My kids who can be picky eaters devoured their plates. The only issue we had with our food was when brought to our table our fish was slightly undercooked. When our server noticed this, he immediately sent it back to the kitchen to have it cooked further. Overall exceptional experience with my family of four.

My wife has lobster thermidor, which was excellent. I made the mistake of ordering beef wellington, which was terrible. The beef was tough and tasteless. The view of the water from the dining room is excellent. I may go back but not for anything but lobster.

oceans 82 is highly recommended and has the very best of St. Maarten French side of the island. spectacular views. the French cuisine is simply outstanding. the food fresh, prepared and presented in world class style. the classic dishes were above expectations. over the service, drinks, view, experience made this the best dining experience on the island for us. our server and host, Yanis was fantastic, helpful and expert in helping us work through the amazing menu choices.

Food was excellent. One staff member was rude. Great views. Food presentation was spectacular, particularly the Sea Bass flambé.

Quality, preparation, and presentation of the food was superb, as always. Service did not meet the same level. We kept being pressured to order one thing right after the other, while we wanted to enjoy our cocktails first, and put some spacing between courses. Servers could have been friendlier. We felt like we were in a factory. Granted, it was a Tuesday (carnival night), which we will remember to avoid next time.

Overall good. We got there right at our reservation time and unfortunately got the worst table with ac blowing on us. Service was slow, but drinks and food very good.

While the food and service were excellent, and the view was perfect, the prices seemed overly high. Everything was more expensive than at comparable restaurants right nearby. We had a lovely but expensive dinner.
