Ocean 7 is nestled within the Inn of Cape May and offers an elegant and classical seaside dining experience for locals and travelers alike. The venue is styled in Victorian fashion, allowing guests to be enriched in history as they dine on seasonal comfort fare. Plan a romantic dinner with cuisine such as baked brie, margherita pizza, pan fried grouper, filet mignon, broiled salmon, pasta primavera and more.

Vegan and gluten-free guests are welcome at Ocean 7, as well. Enjoy the vegan tacos, which are equipped with seitan and pico de gallo, or the vegan burger, which is made with a black bean patty and served with french fries.

    Hostess needs training. She could not move our resy 30 minutes later because there were no tables available, however there were at least 5 tables unoccupied during our entire stay. Either doesn't know what customer service is or how to read the resy system. She also never left her station to assist any or the other hustling workers who were all very good. Menu posted on their website was very different from what we were provided at the table. We were very disappointed in the offerings. Chef needs to know a red pepper creme does not have the consistency of broth and that just mixing a few kernels of corn to a few lima beans isn't a very good sweet corn sucotash. Stuffed flounder stuffing was bland. Food had no flavor.

    Poor service…poor food…shellfish allergy not addressed to the kitchen when told to the waitress. Nothing done when food came to take with fried onions on top every thought it’s fried with fish in the kitchen. We paid the bill and will never go back. Not to mention the portion was tiny and cold. We left and went to eat somewhere else.

    Our 2nd visit to Ocean 7. Great apps, good entrees, and Kathy (our server) was a blast. Very big, strong cocktails too.

    The place is adorable , the band was great The sever did her best, however, the food took over an hour and a half and was mediocre at best. I have been dying by to try this place and can tell you I won’t be back for the food. I will be back for the drinks and the live music.

    Huge portions, creative new dishes. i had a egg roll that was out of this world! chocolate cake was to die for.

    This was our second time at Ocean 7 and we loved our waitress "Susie". The food was very good, the ambience was superb. Loved the porch, bar, and the indoor porch seating. The restored Inn at Cape May and the upgraded restaurant area was so charming and classic. We will be back.
