Much of the menu is served a la carte, letting each guest personalize their experience. My husband and I had the absolute pleasure of dining at Ocean 48 last night for my birthday, and I have to say, it was nothing short of spectacular! From the moment we walked in, we knew this was going to be an unforgettable evening. Geneva graciously welcomed us and led us to our table, where I was surprised with a stunning bouquet my husband had arranged to be there – a heartfelt touch that set the tone for the evening. Geneva was warm, engaging, and made us feel right at home. The attention to detail continued with a warm greeting from the General Manager, Anthony Gatto, who made sure we felt celebrated with a thoughtful birthday card. The entire staff went above and beyond, making us feel like VIPs and genuinely connecting with us through warm conversations. Now, onto the food – hands down the best meal I’ve had in years! We started with fresh oysters, fried calamari, and shrimp, which were all exquisite. For our main course, we each enjoyed a perfectly cooked steak – I had the NY strip, and my husband opted for the bone-in ribeye. Both were seasoned to perfection, aged beautifully, and truly melt-in-your-mouth delicious. The sides were a symphony of flavors, enhancing the meal with every bite. We ended our evening with a slice of key lime pie that was a perfect 10/10! Every aspect of the night, down to the valet experience, was flawless. The doorman even took some of the best photos of us as we waited for our car – capturing memories to last a lifetime. In short, Ocean 48 has set a new standard for dining in Newport Beach. Mastro’s should be shaking in their boots because Ocean 48 has taken center stage! If you’re looking for an exceptional dining experience with impeccable service and unforgettable food, this is the place. 1000/10 – highly recommend!

One of the best experiences that my wife and I have had in a long time. The service definitely stood out. Highly recommend! Ocean 48 attention to detail is top notch.

Our waitress Whitney was so amazing. Very sweet and attentive. She made our experience so wonderful. The food was delicious. The standouts for me were the chicken fried lobster, the meatballs, brûlée corn, and the sea bass.

From start to finish everything was impeccable. The service and attention to detail was nothing short of amazing. We ordered martinis and old fashioned to start and they did not disappoint in the slightest. We ordered the hanging bacon and octopus as appetizers and both were tasty (especially the bacon). We ordered a variety of plates for our main course; crab legs, Iberia pork chop, the A5 , salmon and the unforgettable scap NY Strip! It was probably my favorite cut. It was cooked perfectly. The side dishes are stars on their own as well. We had the shells with lobster and crab (so decadent and perfectly creamy), spinach, corn brûlée and the shishito peppers. All perfectly seasoned and accompanied the plates perfectly. Our server also suggested a bottle of wine to accompany our dinner and his selection did not disappoint. We ended our meal with the fluffiest beignets and espresso martinis. All in all it was perfection! We will most definitely keep coming back

Outstanding restaurant with amazing service and delicious food. My only comment is that the lobster roll was a bit salty. Roasted seafood tower was like a luscious seafood stew. Just delicious. Will definitely return.
