O’Brien's Bistro is one of the few restaurants in Pensacola truly owned and operated by the chef!

Our menu items are just some of the flavor combinations we have created. Our kitchen staff will try to accommodate menu changes or requests you may have. Our goal is if the ingredients are on the pages of our menu, we can cook it your way, well, of course, within reason!

I attended O Brien’s for my birthday the food was excellent and we received our food fast The service was ok our server was pleasant but left us unattended after taking our order. She did not return to check if we needed our beverage refilled. Had to ask management who came by to help us I ordered a coffee with dessert and when it came it was a mess overfilled dripping down the cup to the pint of not being able to even pick it up very sloppy again manager took care of the problem not our server Did not bring my husband’s coffee or dessert until well after it was ordered. I will say the manager was very helpful with fixing our issues Overall the manager did more for us than our server which was a good thing Perhaps she was having issues handling her tables. Overall a good meal

This is mine and my husband’s ‘go to’ Restaurant when we want to have a great lunch! He ordered the shrimp & andouille, sausage, pasta, and a cup of French onion soup. I ordered their special of the day which was grilled salmon, covered in crab meat sauce, rice pilaf and sautéed vegetables. As always, the food was served very hot, and was of the utmost quality. Our waitress was so patient with us, and very attentive. We have eaten at this restaurant probably 8 to 10 times, and never had an average meal, they were always great!

It was not great. The fish was dry. We had the mahi and the Caribbean topping was something that look like and tasted like it came from Walmart. Very underwhelmed and disappointed. We won’t be back for a long time. Seems as if the servers don’t know what they’re doing or at least the one we had and didn’t know what customer service is like at O’Brien’s. So maybe some training needs to happen. Or it’s just a whole new staff and a whole new thought process. A gentleman was walking around like he was the manager, but he never checked with customers to see how they were doing nor filled up water glasses. That would’ve helped out the servers. What happened O’Briens?

Regular customer here and will continue to be. However, last Friday night was not the best as far as my filet and desert. Ordered the special which was a filet and asked for medium. It was covered in gravy and didn't really notice it til about half way through that it might have been medium rare at best. It was getting worse the more I was eating it. Then at the end we ordered the chocolate molten lava cake (think that's what they call it). It was very dry to the point that 1/4 of it was actually hard. Love this place and it was the only time out of all my visits that it was this way. Hopefully all the bad luck happened in one night and I look forward to coming back. One of my favorite places in town with great food for the price.

Took my parents here for NYE and they thoroughly enjoyed the food. My mom and I had the Caribbean Jerk Mahi, delicious! My dad had the Surf and Turf, the steak was like butter when cutting into it. We had the Crème Brûlée and Key Lime pie for dessert. Yummy!! We will be back.

Had tomato basil soup which was delicious. Stuffed grouper was outstanding and finished with a delightful cheesecake.

Our waitress was attentive and quite friendly. I do find O’Briens to be very noisy, so wouldn’t qualify as a romantic spot.

Small portions. Eggplant parm had 3 small medallions of eggplant. Food was served like warm. Would hv told waitress but we didn't see her until she brought check. Menu said $17.95..bill said $19.95. My friend's seafood entree was very good.
