   Our family visit to Oaxaca was an absolute delight. The food was delicious and the guacamole was fabulous!! The people were wonderful, detailed and super attentive. Mami’s celebration was perfect! Thank you Oaxaca family.

   One of the best restaurants we visited during our trip. It was so good we visited twice! Amazing food and service both times!

   The staff could not find our OpenTable reservation and, despite being shown the email confirmation, seemed initially reluctant to honour it. This was followed by slow and inattentive service, the first round of drinks taking almost 15 minutes to arrive. Guacamole made and served at the table was good, though tortillas were of mixed quality. Tacos al pastor were excessively dry and hard to eat, though the aguachile and roast pork were better. This is one of the best-regarded Mexican restaurants in Barcelona, but will need to try harder if it wants to retain this reputation.

   Really enjoyed the food and cocktails! They were very accommodating as we showed up early. We had a drink at the Mezcal bar next door and then moved over to the restaurant for our reservation. I got the Mole and it was delicious, one of the best I’ve had (and I have had a lot!).

    Food was great, liked the location, and restaurant had great ambiance, but they were very short staffed. There seemed to be only one server for the whole restaurant and although she was very good and very sweet, we waited 30 minutes before anyone came to the table to even ask about water. Not her fault, she was super busy, but not a great start to the evening. Our party of 5 all enjoyed our meals though and the original margarita was delicious.
