Have had dinner twice before and am never disappointed. Food, service and view over the vineyard at sunset is excellent.

We come here 1 to 2 times a year for dinner during our trips to the area. The outdoor seating is always nice and peaceful, but we go during low travel season to avoid the crowds. This time I had mushroom on toast and beef short rib.

Excellent meal and service. Beautiful presentation on the plates, well prepared. As a table of four, we had a fair bit of variety - short ribs were excellent, those who had oysters indicated that they were very good (nice presentation), chicken was juicy and loved the mushrooms on toast - was very large and could have been an entree. Service was very attentive and surprised how busy it was given it was a Tuesday after the holiday long weekend. Would return.

We were celebrating a Birthday; the champagne on arrival was a lovely touch; the wine pairings well-chosen and described and the candle on the dessert a nice finishing touch to the meal. We'd definitely come back for another special occasion

We dined on the Inn’s lovely outdoor patio and enjoyed the ambiance and a beautiful sunset. Our short rib entrees were really succulent, and among the best we’ve ever had. Desserts were decadent. Service got off to a ragged start: we had to ask for menus after being seated for 10 minutes and it took three tries before the correct wine arrived. After that, all was fine.

beautiful place. formal table setting. we had the two course prix fixe. the initial greeting was warm and chatty. server william was very congenial and efficient. the menu was the same this time as our last visit about a year ago. food was tasty with verjus featured in dressings and sauces which is unusual. the mushroom bruscetta was particularly good. the mains servings were a satisfying size for us. they included locally grown vegetables. the trout was perfectly cooked and deboned with a nice delicate finish. the braised beef was tender and rich tasting. an enjoyable and reasonably priced meal lacking only the last spark of imagination. i would be happy to return and to recommend to others.

The menu was pricey with limited options for a two or three-course meal, and the wine selection was underwhelming. Although our waitress was accommodating in the beginning, offering us small samples of the white wines, the experience took a turn for the worse when three small insects flew into my glass. When I pointed this out, the waitress casually remarked that it’s to be expected when dining outside and offered to bring a spoon so I could fish them out. I declined, yet we were still charged for the $27 glass of wine. The food was mediocre at best, and dealing with a waitress with an attitude was disappointing.
