Oak Steakhouse Raleigh continues the legacy of the original Oak Steakhouse in Charleston, SC, with a modern take on the classic steakhouse. Located in the Warehouse District of downtown Raleigh, Oak Steakhouse offers an innovative approach to steakhouse dining, serving farm-fresh dishes alongside steakhouse classics. Under the direction of executive chef Todd Woods, Oak's menu highlights the restaurant's relationship with local farmers and purveyors. To complement the menu, Oak's expansive wine list features California Cabernet and Old World reds, including a selection of Italian and Spanish wines, as well as an array of artisan domestic wines. In celebration of Raleigh's local brewery scene, Oak Steakhouse showcases local brews alongside domestic and international beers. Classic and creative, seasonal cocktails are also on the menu.

    Cameron was awesome and made this special occasion memorable! The recommended aged ribeye steak was amazing, I'm looking forward to having this again. A special thanks to Zach, for spreading the word about this wonderful restaurant. I would not have chosen this spot to celebrate my birthday if not for Zach. Thank you, Oak Steak House.

    One of the best dinners Ive ever had. We were celebrating a graduation and our server was wonderful-made all of us feel very special. Excellent steaks and drinks….will definitely come back next time we are in NC.

    This is my second time going to Oak Steakhouse. Both times were exceptional. Everything on the menu looked amazing. The bone marrow was the best I have ever had, and the jam on top was sweet just the right flavor. The food was delicious and the service was outstanding. We will definitely go back.

    Phenomenal service and good lead to a memorable evening I would do again in a heartbeat! All their steaks are 40 day wet aged and great. Apps and dessert menus are limited but fun

    This was a really nice restaurant, however it was way over priced. Was it a good steak? YES,. Was the steak worth $80.00, not at all. I have had Ribeye just as good for $50-60. Was the Beef Wellington good? Yes, but the wellington I had on my Carnival Cruise (Mardi Gras) in June was so much better. For that one, I would pay $70, not for this one. Was the bread good? It was ok, but 4 rolls for 7 bucks? Especially when you need a ton of better to make it YUMMY. Texas Roadhouse, Red Lobster and Longhorn serves better tasting bread and it is free. The Apps (Mac, potatoes, creamed collards) I can not even speak about. Not worth my time... at all. If I ever dined there again (and it would have to be because someone gave me a gift card), I would just get the steak. What I can say was the service was excellent and the complimentary dessert as you leave was very nice touch. (and it was very tasty) I say, if you have the money, and you want a really good steak with a good atmosphere and service and you live in Raleigh, then this is your place to go. But if you are celebrating your birthday, there are MANY other places you can go where at least they will truly value you and show you they are happy you chose them for your celebration.

    Excellent service and food as always. One of my favorite restaurants to dine downtown Raleigh. Great atmosphere for a special occasion or just a fun night out.

    Great staff and experience, entrees and starters were a great, however the desserts did not meet expectations in comparison to the mains. Overall would definitely come back!

    The oak is overrated. When it first opened, the menu was diverse and original. Now, it's a standard steakhouse overpriced and under delivers on quality. It feels like a profit squeeze. Paired down menu and sell high profit items. If you don't execute the high profit items well, the value isn't there for the customer.

    What a disappointment. We were there to celebrate a birthday, so we specifically chose Oak House to make it a special evening, and it was weak at best. The bone-in strip was so over salted that my husband didn't even finish it, the pork chop was so burnt that it looked like it had blacken spices on it (in all fairness he did order it well done-but not burnt and dry). The lamb chops that I ordered med/rare were brown through out. The filet was cooked as ordered, but one out of three meals being cooked properly is not a good record. The "caesar" salad tasted nothing like a caesar...hard garlic crystals, non traditional caesar greens, bacon...don't call it a caesar salad. Our sides were tasteless macaroni and cheese, and mushy garlic potatoes, tomatoes that were tasteless, as was the béarnaise sauce. The amount of time it took to get cocktails to start was almost comical, and the wine we ordered with dinner finally came when we were halfway through our meal. We opted out of dessert and after dinner drinks here, but went to another restaurant downtown to try and save the birthday celebration. That was $500 I wish we had spent elsewhere!
