Oak Steakhouse Raleigh continues the legacy of the original Oak Steakhouse in Charleston, SC, with a modern take on the classic steakhouse. Located in the Warehouse District of downtown Raleigh, Oak Steakhouse offers an innovative approach to steakhouse dining, serving farm-fresh dishes alongside steakhouse classics. Under the direction of executive chef Todd Woods, Oak's menu highlights the restaurant's relationship with local farmers and purveyors. To complement the menu, Oak's expansive wine list features California Cabernet and Old World reds, including a selection of Italian and Spanish wines, as well as an array of artisan domestic wines. In celebration of Raleigh's local brewery scene, Oak Steakhouse showcases local brews alongside domestic and international beers. Classic and creative, seasonal cocktails are also on the menu.

    Good space downtown Raleigh. Steaks were average not prime as advertised. Parking is terrible. Need a valet service.

    This was our first time eating at Oak Steakhouse,but it will not be our last! What a great experience! The food was excellent. The bread was warm and fresh, and had an unusual salty flavor. The steaks were cooked perfectly and wonderfully seasoned. My husband said it was the best steak he had had in a very long time. Mine was also delicious. I tried the Oak steak sauce, and was surprised at just how good it was. The mac ‘n cheese had a flavor I didn’t recognize, but was smooth and not at all sharp. To top it all off, they brought a complimentary dessert for my husband’s birthday. This dessert, while small in portion size, was larger than life! It knocked our socks off! Delicious! Considering how put off we were at having to provide a credit card to hold the reservation, I’m glad we went. It was a terrific experience!

    Had a great time for my mother’s 75th birthday. Food was excellent as always and the staff is always top tier. Kirsten was perfect.

    This restaurant was very receptive to our family. We were a party of 6 (3 adults and 3 children). I would say the restaurant is more for an adult setting but either way the receptionist and waiter made our experience worthy. The waiter did a great job going over the menu and made some great recommendations. The restaurant was also very clean and had a relaxed ambiance. Overall, we had a great experience and would recommend this restaurant to others.

    Review: Oak Steakhouse – Raleigh, North Carolina   It was a night of hanging out with good friends. The steakhouse had a sleek modern ambiance with a blend of wood, polished metals, stylish lighting, and an elevated vibe, making it the perfect spot for an intimate evening.   The service was impeccable.  The Staff was overly attentive and made sure that we received all the things we needed to enjoy the evening, from the curated cocktails and red wine to the attention to the needs of the table from the beginning, which was beyond the expectation of a top-tier restaurant.   Let’s talk Steak.   The selection of the steaks was genuinely impressive.  They also had varying choices of 40-day aged steaks, providing all members of our party options to choose from for the dining experience.  The 8oz filet mignon medium rare was nothing short of perfection.  Every piece of steak melted in your mouth like butter, and the seasoning profile was the right balance between allowing the natural flavors of the meat to shine. They offered a number of great accompaniments with the steak along with a number of great sauce options so each person could curate their best steak experience.    We had several sides at the table, including roasted baby carrots, bone marrow fries, Yukon gold mashed potatoes, pan-roasted mushrooms, and Mac and cheese. As a restaurant reviewer who has traveled all over the world, I couldn’t find one thing wrong with what we experienced that night.   Even the Apple Cinnamon Moonpie truly made the night an unforgettable experience.   If you are looking for an amazing dining experience for spouses, family, friends, and business associates, I would absolutely recommend Oak Steakhouse.
