Skyline Lodge features Indigo Road Hospitality Group's Oak Steakhouse, a contemporary steakhouse restaurant. Oak's menu includes steakhouse classics with a modern flair, utilizing Certified Angus Beef and local ingredients. The steakhouse, designed by Skyline's interior design team, Mey & Co, seats up to 80 guests in an intimate and inviting dining room lined with luxurious leather banquettes, a custom floor-to-ceiling wine display, and three original working native granite stone fireplaces. Oak Steakhouse Highlands is sure to become a go-to for both Skyline Lodge guests and locals.

Thank you for choosing Oak Steakhouse to celebrate Thanksgiving with your loved ones. This year, like those in the past, Executive Chef Matt Weinstein will be doing a buffet style Thanksgiving celebration. The buffet will include carving stations for turkey, salmon, and beef tenderloin. We will also have many of our amazing starters, or appetizers, fresh seasonal vegetables, some Thanksgiving favorites. To finish off this amazing meal, there will also be a dessert station with many fantastic desserts created by our amazing Pastry Chef, Ashley Cannon. The cost for this event is $105 per person + tax and gratuity. Kids 12 and under will be $35++

Great dinner to celebrate a birthday. Steaks were cooked perfectly. Sides were large enough for 5 people to share. Service was excellent.

The Oak is our favorite restaurant in Cashiers. The atmosphere is warm and elegant. The service is impeccable. Scott, our server, was attentive, friendly, and welcoming. The food is outstanding. The best steak we’ve had in all our travels.

This is our third time dining at Oak Steakhouse. It is such a fine atmosphere and the food is truly excellent. We split the filet, which was outstanding, and got sides of Brussels sprouts (fabulously prepared), and wonderful mashed potatoes. Oak Steakhouse has become one of our favorite restorations in the Highlands area.

The food was incredible and it’s a beautiful restaurant and bar. Sadly I could barely hear my date across the table. The acoustics in the restaurant emphasized nearby conversations to an extreme level! We realize it could have just been this one time with the groups near us and may try again. Noise sensitivity isn’t normally an issue for us, but made the dinner less enjoyable.

The vibe of restaurant and service was very good. However, the food was fair. Trout and chicken entrees were too salty and saucy. Sometimes less is more. Keep recipes simple. Appetizers and salads were wonderful.
