Oak is a contemporary steakhouse located in Alexandria, Virginia, from The Indigo Road Hospitality Group. Oak Steakhouse creates a menu showcasing the finest cuts of Certified Angus Beef, along with locally-sourced produce from farms in Virginia and across the nation. Oak Steakhouse is proud to use Certified Angus Beef, renowned for its exceptional quality, with each cut meeting ten exacting standards delivering superior taste and tenderness. Guests can expect a bustling steakhouse experience, with farm-to-table sensibilities, classic cocktails, and a global wine list in a convivial atmosphere. Oak Alexandria features an intimate and inviting dining room, with an open kitchen lined with sleek pewter tile, allowing guests a glimpse of the chefs in action. Rustic reclaimed wood and crimson leather banquettes adorn the space, which seats up to 110 guests in the dining room. A custom-built wine wall displays a selection of Oak's robust wine list which features over 200 bottles. Oak Alexandria also offers an outdoor patio that seats 36, as well as a sophisticated private dining room which is available for up to 30 guests.

Attentive staff, kindly gave us champagne due to our wait, everything we ate was amazing. Would recommend to anyone looking for a great and special meal.

We went with the Burger and the Steak Frites; both were amazing, and we really felt we had tremendous value. I stayed away from the Filet; I'm not a big fan of open-flame cooking them. I was very happy that they had Buffalo Trace in stock, so that was a plus. I usually enjoy one with my meals in these nicer establishments. The staff was very good. We spoke with Todd at the end to convey our appreciation to the chefs on the line who prepared our meal. My recommendations are the Burger and the Brussel Sprouts; I'd consider the sprouts on Mt. Rushmore from all the establishments I've dined at. Definitely recommend, and I'm sure we'll be back.

Our server Robert, welcomed my family and myself as if we were friends. With his knowledge of fine dining and recommendations we didn’t just have a holiday family meal, we had an experience that will be cherished in our memories. We absolutely loved our experience at Oak once again. We came back for our 1 year anniversary of being engaged and had the most memorable experience. Our waiter (Sean) served us last year during our special night and it was delightful to have him again as a server a year later!! He provides absolute professionalism and gives 12/10 service every time. We love Oak and always cherish our time at the restaurant. It has become a staple for us and we always look forward to coming back every few months. Thank you for an amazing experience and we will see you again soon!

Excellent service from Robert, the duck and petite filet were out of this world. We ordered Mac n cheese and mushrooms as our sides truly delish- we ended the meal with a great coffee.
