Oak is a contemporary steakhouse located in Alexandria, Virginia, from The Indigo Road Hospitality Group. Oak Steakhouse creates a menu showcasing the finest cuts of Certified Angus Beef, along with locally-sourced produce from farms in Virginia and across the nation. Oak Steakhouse is proud to use Certified Angus Beef, renowned for its exceptional quality, with each cut meeting ten exacting standards delivering superior taste and tenderness. Guests can expect a bustling steakhouse experience, with farm-to-table sensibilities, classic cocktails, and a global wine list in a convivial atmosphere. Oak Alexandria features an intimate and inviting dining room, with an open kitchen lined with sleek pewter tile, allowing guests a glimpse of the chefs in action. Rustic reclaimed wood and crimson leather banquettes adorn the space, which seats up to 110 guests in the dining room. A custom-built wine wall displays a selection of Oak's robust wine list which features over 200 bottles. Oak Alexandria also offers an outdoor patio that seats 36, as well as a sophisticated private dining room which is available for up to 30 guests.

Paris was lovely. Service was a bit slow and missed out on something we ordered. Food is always delicious. Fun night all in all!

The food was good all around but there was a lack of attention to detail that kept it from 5*. The server should know what beer is on tap and if we order the steak unsliced, it should arrive unsliced. At these prices, there should be no annoyances.

Booked a table for two for a nice celebration dinner. It may have been just that night but it was loud with multiple tables with groups. Made the atmosphere unpleasant. The service was good. This place forced us to order the appetizer and main at once, so don’t expect a relaxing evening. The expectation is clear - order, eat and leave. Naturally we ordered steaks and two sides. Sides are “family style” and ordered for the table. The food was delicious but pricey. The unexpected addition on the bill was an automatically added “gratuity” of 20%. For a party of 2! Not stated anywhere, so check your bill before tipping.

Been a few times before and it was always off the charts amazing. This time it was mediocre. Food was definitely not the same quality.

Lovely evening and excellent food and service. Thank you for being open on Christmas Eve. This is our third year in a row on Christmas Eve and every time has been delightful.

We had such a great experience last year, but this year was so disappointing poor food, but more importantly, poor service for drink service poor food service we will not be going back next year. They will have to earn us a reason to come back.

Hi Katherine, First of all, I want to sincerely apologize for your experience with us. The one thing we pride ourselves on is our consistency both in food and service so when we don't reach that standard it is very important that we find out why. Christmas Eve was busy, but not so much that you should feel that the food and service are not the same. We teach our servers to check in with our guests after each course and to get a manager if there is a problem. Did your server do that and did a manager stop by? I would love the chance to speak with you personally regarding your experience with us. This was a very disappointing meal, though the restaurant did try to fix things to their credit. Steaks were way over-cooked (ordered medium rare and served cold and well done). My date’s steak was served with butter and bit barely melted. To their credit they comped an ok dessert and an after dinner drink but it was overall very disappointing for Christmas Eve dinner

Lovely food as always! Our server was FANTASTIC! My only complaint is we were seated by the kitchen and it was hard to talk. But very minor issue... OAK was absolutely packed on Christmas Eve so I'm sure they did their best. We'll be back!
