Oak is a contemporary steakhouse located in Alexandria, Virginia, from The Indigo Road Hospitality Group. Oak Steakhouse creates a menu showcasing the finest cuts of Certified Angus Beef, along with locally-sourced produce from farms in Virginia and across the nation. Oak Steakhouse is proud to use Certified Angus Beef, renowned for its exceptional quality, with each cut meeting ten exacting standards delivering superior taste and tenderness. Guests can expect a bustling steakhouse experience, with farm-to-table sensibilities, classic cocktails, and a global wine list in a convivial atmosphere. Oak Alexandria features an intimate and inviting dining room, with an open kitchen lined with sleek pewter tile, allowing guests a glimpse of the chefs in action. Rustic reclaimed wood and crimson leather banquettes adorn the space, which seats up to 110 guests in the dining room. A custom-built wine wall displays a selection of Oak's robust wine list which features over 200 bottles. Oak Alexandria also offers an outdoor patio that seats 36, as well as a sophisticated private dining room which is available for up to 30 guests.

Lovely evening and excellent food and service. Thank you for being open on Christmas Eve. This is our third year in a row on Christmas Eve and every time has been delightful.

We had such a great experience last year, but this year was so disappointing poor food, but more importantly, poor service for drink service poor food service we will not be going back next year. They will have to earn us a reason to come back.

This was a very disappointing meal, though the restaurant did try to fix things to their credit. Steaks were way over-cooked (ordered medium rare and served cold and well done). My date’s steak was served with butter and bit barely melted. To their credit they comped an ok dessert and an after dinner drink but it was overall very disappointing for Christmas Eve dinner

Lovely food as always! Our server was FANTASTIC! My only complaint is we were seated by the kitchen and it was hard to talk. But very minor issue... OAK was absolutely packed on Christmas Eve so I'm sure they did their best. We'll be back!

We had a delicious Christmas Eve dinner. The ambiance was festive and warm. The server was chill and attentive. We got to watch a bustling kitchen. The food was delicious. It was a fun experience. We will be back.

The atmosphere was warm and inviting decorated beautifully. The service was great however value for the price wasn’t good. We paid over $170 for our food and rolls were extra. Our food was good but overcooked. It was overall nice but not somewhere I’d want to go again.

Oak Steakhouse never disappoints! This is a must in Old Town Alexandria. It is a go-to spot for a night out or special occasion.

It was the best dinner and experience I’ve had in years! The food was amazing and the service was out of this world. Highly recommend this place for a special dinner or just a regular night out.

Very nice dinner tonight. Enrique was a fantastic server! Very attentive and knowledgeable on the menu. Filet with truffle butter was amazing! Been going here since it opened and still my favorite steakhouse in Alexandria/DMV!
