Oak is a contemporary steakhouse located in Alexandria, Virginia, from The Indigo Road Hospitality Group. Oak Steakhouse creates a menu showcasing the finest cuts of Certified Angus Beef, along with locally-sourced produce from farms in Virginia and across the nation. Oak Steakhouse is proud to use Certified Angus Beef, renowned for its exceptional quality, with each cut meeting ten exacting standards delivering superior taste and tenderness. Guests can expect a bustling steakhouse experience, with farm-to-table sensibilities, classic cocktails, and a global wine list in a convivial atmosphere. Oak Alexandria features an intimate and inviting dining room, with an open kitchen lined with sleek pewter tile, allowing guests a glimpse of the chefs in action. Rustic reclaimed wood and crimson leather banquettes adorn the space, which seats up to 110 guests in the dining room. A custom-built wine wall displays a selection of Oak's robust wine list which features over 200 bottles. Oak Alexandria also offers an outdoor patio that seats 36, as well as a sophisticated private dining room which is available for up to 30 guests.

This was one of the best meals we’ve had here in Alexandria. The fillet and scallops were melt in your mouth and cooked to perfection. Very pricey, but delicious!

Paul was a very polite cheerful + engaging waiter. The meal was very good. We are regulars at Capital Grill but when we don't feel like leaving OT Oak is the place!

Best restaurant in Alexandria VA! Food is always prepared exceptionally; friendly, polite professional service; reasonable prices that are lower than similar quality high end DC restaurants.

Hi Anonymous- We're sorry to hear that you didn't enjoy your entrees. What did you order? We teach our servers and our Managers to come check on you after a couple of bites to ensure you like what you have ordered. Did your server check back with you? Did you let the Manager know when he stopped by? It's frustrating for us because we want you to enjoy what you order. You won't hurt our feelings, I promise. But we can't fix it if we don't know. I hope you give us a nother chance to give you experience that we are used to giving here...that of exceeding our guests' expectations. The food, staff and atmosphere were great. Chef is expert at incorporating in season vegetables. Everything is so fresh and zesty!

Had oysters, braised pork belly, 40 oz tomahawk steak, 16 oz ribeye, asparagus, Gouda mac n cheese, duck fat fries, and cheesecake banana fosters. It was all super amazing and cooked to order. I would eat it all over again right now. I was disappointed with Capital Grille in DC. Oak blows it out of the water. The service was even better. Hats off to our server Rickey!

This was a fantastic dining experience! I got a reservation for my fiance and I for her birthday. The food tasted fantastic and came in a reasonable time. My fiance had a great time and we will always remember Oak!

Dry-aged steak and filet mignon were exceptional. Seared foie gras was the best I’ve ever had. Sides were excellent. Staff was extremely accommodating- we had one vegan and one pescatarian friend in our dining group, as well as 2 toddlers, and everyone was catered to graciously. We were never made to feel like an inconvenience. Our server was fantastic- warm, attentive, competent, gracious. Just such an amazing experience overall. Would give 6 stars if we could. Just *chef’s kiss*!
