What a pleasant surprise! OAK Grill is fine dining all the way. We started with a crab cake appetizer which was delicious. I ordered the filet special. It was cooked to perfection and very flavorful. My wife’s lobster tail was tender and sweet. Our server was very friendly and helpful. Overall, the experience was outstanding. A definite do-over!!

Hi Ms. Crowell,First we would like to thank you for dining with us at O.A.K. We are also very happy that you enjoyed our culinary creations that you ordered including the Mushroom Bruschetta,our Espresso Rubbed-5 hour Braised Prime Short Ribs over our Truffle Yukon Puree and Bacon Braised Collards, as well as our Fish du Jour which consisted of Pan Seared Chilean Sea Bass,Served over a Lump Crab & Sweet Corn Risotto,Accompanied by Pork Belly Haricot Verts,Finished with a King Crab Veloute.Each of these is made fresh to order and we only serve fresh/never frozen ingredients.Our prices directly reflect the amount of quality and attention to detail each of our dishes consists of. We hope you understand.We are also expanding our restaurant which will include another more intimate dining area.

My wife treated me for my birthday. What a find! Great decor and atmosphere. The food was off the chart! Had smoked oysters and Delmonico ribeye with collards and truffle fries. Wonderful meal.

They food was outstanding, every dish we got was delicious I couldn’t make up a complaint if I tried. The staff was attentive and overall very nice. This was our first experience and we’ll will most definitely be back.

We had dinner here (first time) on Friday Oct 18th. Service, Chef, food and cocktails were top notch first class! If you haven’t dined here yet, add it to your list you’ll be happy you did! We will definitely be back!!!

Oak Prime is excellent! From the tuna taco to the bread pudding, JK put a his entire soul into anything he does. Great place

Salads were great - very fresh. My short ribs were amazing. My SIL got the filet cooked medium. It was more well done than medium and didn’t have much flavor. My husband had the pasta and shrimp special which was delicious. It’s an intimate space that is well decorated. It was a little loud when we arrived as there was a large group at a high-top table in the center of the space. Our server was John and he was terrific.

We are very happy to hear that you enjoyed the majority of your chosen O.A.K. culinary creations, however we are very sorry to hear that your SIL's filet was overcooked and underwhelming. We would have been more than happy to immediately correct this situation if we were aware of the misstep. Guest satisfaction is our top priority. We do admittedly have a small dining space, which can create a more lively noise level when we have larger parties. That is why we are so excited for our expansion to be complete in the next few months, which will include another more intimate dining area! Thank you also for recognizing John's wonderful service. He is amazing! We hope to see you again!
