The Cave Café offers indoor and outdoor dining. Enjoy the enchanting ambiance of dining inside the cave or outdoor dining overlooking the majestic views of the De Portola Wine Trail. Our friendly, approachable, and extremely informed staff will make your dining and wine tasting experience unforgettable.

Our Cave Café welcomes diners Sunday - Thursday, between 11am to 6pm and Friday - Saturday, between 11am to 8pm. Reservations are not required but highly recommend during the weekends. We can comfortably accommodate parties with up to 8 guests in the restaurant. For larger parties, please feel free to contact us at 951-699-9102.

James was a great tour guide through the cave. NEVER stopped talking. Was informative and entertaining.

First time here. Upon arrival we were captivated by the nice views of the surroundings. Once inside the cave it was nice and cool. The food was outstanding. The birria empanadas were delicious. Overall great experience.

Great food, wine was just okay. Eating inside a cave is different and an experience you should try. It can get loud when it's busy as some voices bounce and carry. The Parm fries are incredible and are a must try.

I could not state anything about the food, but it looked very good. We did not eat there, but we enjoyed the wine tasting.

I’ve been going to the Cave for several years, I drive 90 miles just to go there especially during the Holidays . Well during my recent visit in October 6th I noticed that service was not the same . Our waiter took so long to check on us, I do understand when they are busy I work in retail and I know how it gets sometimes but no one checked on us not even once after having our meals served . No one picked up our appetizer plates . Our table was full with empty / dirty plates . I’m not sure if they are short staffed but they Manager should be walking around tables and making sure everything is running smoothly. I really hope it was just a one time thing.

Pretty disappointed. For $50 a person, not impressed at all. And for a champagne brunch, I would assume the champagne was included. I had a private tour several weeks ago, which was amazing; ever since the experience has been worse and worse. Horrible customer service with horrible attitudes from employees. I even spent $1000 on a case of wine. I will not be returning. I even considered having my wedding here. No longer.

The food was exquisite! scallops, crab claws, the largest shrimp , all fresh. Then of course the standard brunch buffet fare: omelette bar, prime rib, and many other breakfast favorites. At $50 we felt we were getting value for our meal. We’re going again and bringing friends.

Our experience was fair to good. Tara, our server, was great. But she needed more assistance with added items. For brunch. Had to ask for a lot of items not available. Normally, brunches come with free-flowing champagne. We had to pay for a second drink. It was an ok brunch.
