Welcome to Oak + Rose Tea Room, where we specialize in boutique afternoon tea experiences designed to bring joy and relaxation through shared moments in a lovely setting.

Come enjoy our meticulously planned afternoon tea gatherings in the picturesque Fox riverfront area of downtown Geneva, IL. Our focus on precision ensures a traditional yet elegant atmosphere, ideal for any gathering or special occasion.

Embrace the London chic ambiance with a suggested dress code of dressy casual.

Please note this experience is best suited for ages 3+. Booster seats, high chairs, and changing tables are not available at the restaurant at this time.

Enjoy the winter in our cozy tea room at Oak + Rose on the Fox River waterfront in downtown Geneva. Our afternoon tea consists of an assortment of finger sandwiches, scones & biscuits, as well as petite pastries to compliment a wide variety of premium teas. The menu is prix-fixe with some modifications available (vegetarian, gluten free). At this time, we are not able to accommodate dairy free or vegan requests. A kids menu for guests ages 3-12 is also available. We kindly ask that children joining are able to remain seated. Afternoon tea experiences are for a 2 hour time limit. Drip coffee, water, and select sodas are included. Alcoholic beverages are available for sale for guests 21+.

Lovely experience. The food was delicious and the service was excellent. They asked if we were celebrating anything special and then brought out a slice of birthday cake

Oak & Rose Tea Room is a charming business in Geneva, IL overlooking the Fox River. The whole experience from start to finish was excellent. You book your reservations online and prepay which I appreciate so your not having to deal with 'details' the day of your tea. You just show up and enjoy the 2 hr. Tea service. Ambiance & decor is modern and classic. Lovely music greets you and a wall to take pics to mark the occasion. Service was excellent very friendly staff and the owner went around to tables to greet customers and later to make sure everything was going well. The food....I don't know where to start. The chef had a lovely menu. My favorite was a sour cherry & brie bite. The chicken salad on crossiant was stuffed generously and should be on the menu year round. The unexpected surprise was the roast beef with caramelized onion jam, gouda, peppercorn, horseradish aioli on pumpernickel delicious! The desserts were so fresh and such a variety. Our table loved the lemon tart and blueberry bundt cake along with the raspberry gelatin bites. The selection of tea was great and you were able to sample more than one. Overall we had a lovely afternoon and were actually full before we could finish everything so we were able to bring a few items home. We always leave a tea still feeling hungry but not at Oak & Rose. We took home the mini chocolate lava cakes and warmed them up & added ice cream for a decadent treat all on it's own. Two Bridgerton thumbs up for Oak & Rose...it's definitely worth the money.

Vanessa and her staff have created the most beautiful, elegant environment that is still comfortable and warm! We went for her holiday “High Tea”, and were treated with excellent service, and a lovely, delicious assortment of tea-time delectables! I will definitely continue this “High Tea” tradition for special occasions, and Oak & Rose will also be on the top of my list as a venue for private events in the future!

Lovely. I've attended several chicago tea rooms, and none of them compare to the quaint, elegant, experience of Oak+Rose. The Christmas tea was like a little sip of Christmas. The food was the right blend of savory and sweets - my personal favorites were the chicken salad croissant and macarons. My gluten-free girlfriend was pleasantly surprised by how yummy the bread was, and my vegetarian girlfriend thought the cucumber and hummus sandwiches were delicious. This is definitely our new annual tea room!

The holiday tea was the perfect way to celebrate the holidays! The space was decorated festively and the tables and chairs were super shiek and comfortable. The food and service was excellent. We will definitely be back to enjoy an afternoon tea.

We absolutely LOVE this amazing tea room! Vanessa and her wonderful crew do such a nice job with setting a beautiful table, serving delicious food and tea and make you feel like you are right at home. And the setting of the tea room, overlooking the river in downtown Geneva, is just lovely. We are so grateful to have found it and look forward to many more memorable times there!

I have enjoyed high tea at several area places, including The Ritz Carlton, The little Traveler, and The All Chocolate Kitchen. All were less expensive, and all were a better value that the Oak and Tea Room. 64$ for tea, cocoa, three tiny, dried-out sandwiches, two small scones, and 4 mini desserts? (Granted, it’s a beautiful setting on the Fox River, and table decor and desserts were delightful. Once your tea is served, we had to keep asking passing staff for a refill or drink. (Gratuity was included in the Christmas Tea price, so perhaps that was the problem.) Hostess/owner? seemed friendly, welcoming, but I will not be coming back any day soon.

What a fabulous place. Each detail is appreciated down to the mini tea spoons. I loved spending time with my friend and our two daughters. We were able to get dressed up, enjoy amazing food and friends. The location is right on the river and windows show the beautiful Fox River in Geneva. This is a must attend. It's the perfect gift for the woman in your life who has everything, celebrate her and enjoy Oak and Rose.
