Absolutely fabulous evening. We went to the bar in the basement after dinner, it was great too. Loved that Open Table asked if we wanted to add reservations for basement while we were at dinner. We’ve been to Oak and Reel many times, each time is wonderful experience.

Amazing anniversary dinner. We had the tasting menu and it truly was wonderful. We enjoyed every course. Service was excellent without being annoying. Great for a special occasion.

Oak and Reel is one of our favorite dining spots. Our dining experience was wonderful. The service was outstanding. Our meal was excellent, so beautifully prepared.

Special birthday celebratory dinner that didn’t disappoint with the overall experience- the energy was great! The menu and food hit all the marks-. We will definitely be back!

Everything about the experience was positive - food was delicious, wine was great, ambiance and volume were just right, service was friendly and at just the right cadence. One of the better dining experiences I've had since I began regularly visiting Detroit over the past year or so!

All four of us had a cocktail (those perfectly clear square ice cubes are awesome!) followed by the Tuscan tasting menu and wine pairing. We had all been to O&R several times before, for both regular dinners and tasting menus. The entire experience has always been exceptional, and last night was no exception. The food, atmosphere, service...everything was terrific. We commented that it is our favorite Detroit restaurant, which is saying something given the revised Detroit dining scene. Simply Wonderful, as usual!!
